After doing some searches, it doesn't seem that there is a lot of Lanvin info on tPF. There are some Q&As regarding specific Lanvin styles, but nothing about Lanvin bags in general. (Although there are always threads about Lanvin flats in the Glass Slipper section.)
For those of you who own Lanvin bags, what are your opinions? How durable are they? How well made (any quality control issues)? What styles do you prefer and do you use them for every day bags? Where do you typically purchase them and do you pay full price, or find them on sale a few times a year? |

I have a Lanvin Globe bag as well as 2 necklaces. It's a purplish violet color with metallic corners and beautiful chain handles. The bag is HUGE!!!! I could use it for travel or wear it to work as a tote. I don't like the fact that its that big and it only has one side pocket. Everything gets lost in it.

I think the quality is outstanding. I have a black Jeanne bag that I use for going out -- it's timeless. I used to have a Kentucky that I ended up selling on e-bay. It killed me to sell it, but it was too large and it was hard to find my stuff in it. But the leather was amazing. I think the Kansas is a more practical size, and I hope to find one for a good price one of these days.
I found my Jeanne on e-bay for a great price because the clasp was broken. I took it to a shoe repair and they fixed it. |

There are quite a few Lanvin bags at www.annsfabulousfinds.com, which look really lovely (but very pricey as well!)

I started a thread a few days ago and my Lanvin will be delivered today:
_____________________________ I couldn't believe it! I did a search for Lanvin handbags and this one came up on a search engine, but not when you got to BlueFly.com. Very odd, but I clicked on the link on thefind.com and it took me right there and I snagged the last one. And they have a 10% off sale today Why wouldn't it show up in the search on BlueFly.com but show up on thefind.com? I am not complaining because $1,200 for a new leather Lanvin is a dream come true.http://www.bluefly.com/Lanvin-olive-...300/detail.fly I just sold a green Bbag because I was looking for something a little more structured so I have been looking for a timeless style greenish handbag and this Lanvin fit the bill. |
