Nice color combination!
I have PF (except other Lancel bags ) in this two colors (I am sorry for the Picture of purple bag, I have no better just now ), the blue one is my absolutelly favourite bag in last four year. I am thinking about grey or nude (till is it possible to buy in outlet) and I am dreaming about the limited edition Opera from 2010 y.

Great color! Looking at all these nice bags with amazing colors, I am shocked to notice that all my larger bags are black. I really have to get some color into my life and soon. Lancel Bianca and Charlie come in nice colors...

I just discovered the Charlie bag today- I am sitting here drooling. It is possibly the most gorgeous, perfect handbag I have ever seen. I want the buffalo leather, either elephant or red.
If anyone from the US orders one, please post pictures!

I visited the Lancel boutique in Aix-en-Provence last week.

The Charlie is a lovely bag, very practical and well-made. It was on my shortlist of bags but I ended up getting an H (GP) instead. I think the large size would make a fantastic work bag.

For the Aussies out there, Myer Sydney started selling Lancel sometime last year...at least that's when I got my Charlie and Charlie wallet.
Absolutely beautiful leather. Not always the most practical to carry though because the closure area does tend to pull and have a droopy look when full so I use it as a casual day bag.

I finally got my Charlie, after years of longing ! I wonder, would you like me to make a review of the bag since I read some of you were interested in it ?

Not pictured: there is a coin purse w/ card slot that comes w/ the charlie which can sit inside the outside pocket or inside pocket. It's stamped w/ the 'lancel, etc' but I can't seem to find it. Probably in one of my other bags. I'll post pics if I find it & remember too.

I've had the bag and wallet for over a year & have used it regularly for work/uni/out-and-about. I'm not precious w/ my bags (I don't treat them roughly either) but honestly the leather is as good as when I bought it new from the store. Definitely worth it in terms of cost-per-wear & just value for money in general. Seriously lovely leather, craftsmanship & this might be a little weird but I love the way the bag smells? But, I have seen a few of the Lancel range 'made in china', don't know if that's still going on so buyer beware!

Another thing, I did have a tiny bit of colour transfer on this bag wearing blue jeans from j-brand. Soft washcloth soaked in a little warm water w/ dove soap - came right out.

Oh one final thing,

I'm 159cm tall. This bag is on the larger size for my frame - it fits A4 comfortably & I have fit a 13" laptop in there w/ daily stuff in the past. The strap is also on the long side for me. I've seen the Large size of the Charlie & it is HUGE. If you're a smaller lady, like me, I would recommend the Medium over the Large.

What a beautiful bag! Love the way it is adjustable in width. Thank you for providing so many pics! I will be in Paris next summer and I am excited to be able to go to a Lancel boutique and hopefully buy one in person. I see on the web site very cute purse charms also.

And not available in shops, only by pre-ordering by e-mail. Did you buy it with the tag and did you pre-ordered it? And your color was available? Thanks.

Bought my Charlie in-store in Sydney. The luggage tag came with the bag - did not pay extra. I'm not sure if they still do this.

You know what, it is strange that the newer models don't have the tag anymore...did a little digging and I think the tag came as standard in the original run of three colours. Most of the promo images seem to feature a tag. You might be able to find some of the older bags (w/ tag included) from other retailers?
