Great bag! I dont know what size do you mean as "crossbody", there are two small bags in this collection. The prices (in France) are:
big 1.290€
medium 1.090€
small 790€

I have badly wanted the Charlie for almost a year now, but there are no sellers in the U.S. as far as I can determine. I am going to Zurich soon--does anybody know if I could buy this bag in Zurich?

The black one is from Lancel. It's the medium size. 31 cm wide
The red one is from Ithaa blog. It could be the smaller size.
A friend of mine saw the large one and she said it's huge.

Yes, I agree that the big size is toooo big! I am big girl (180cm) and I love big bags, but the largest Charlie is too much. The bag is prepared as a "competitor" for Birkin bag, same style of closing, but I have no idea what I can carry inside - half of my office? And the largest Charlie has no long strap. And also is heavy. I think it doesnt look so elegant.
The second size (black model in the Picture) is perfect! Plenty of space for NTB, cosmetic bag, wallet, keys etc. It is possible to wear as crossbory or wear iz on the forearm or in a hand.
I tried Charlie many times, I love this bag - till now I wear other Lancel model, quality is perfect! I am decided to buy it, I was in Paris in the begining of Juky, but I canot to make a choice of the color - I dont want the basic colors and the was the orange only. I am waiting for petrol, navy blue or maybe light red, mint...we will see.
What the color do you like, ladies?

Is the red a blue-red( as in Gucci's red) or an orange red? I could not exactly tell from Lancel's website. Also, what do you think of the Charlie crossbody? It does not have the handle, just the strap.

Can the Charlie be expanded by loosening the top 'belt'? I would like to know if I could open up the top of the bag to put something larger e.g a laptop?

I have PF (except other Lancel bags ) in this two colors (I am sorry for the Picture of purple bag, I have no better just now ), the blue one is my absolutelly favourite bag in last four year. I am thinking about grey or nude (till is it possible to buy in outlet) and I am dreaming about the limited edition Opera from 2010 y.
