I have no exactly this bag, but I know it. I wear for many years a few Lancel bags "bucket type": Premier Flirts, Elsa, Bucket (very similar to Ninon bucket) and Cabas (back pack) made of this type of leather and quality is perfect. The leather is very strog, soft, and let say "massive", very good and stable coloration. Precisely processed details and visibly high-quality sewing, complemented by hand stitches.
Looks luxurious and expensive. Very good ratio money for quality!
Some points to pay attention:
- Leather in pretty hard in the begining. Gradually softens when worn. It should be treated with a cream to prevent deformation.
- I recommend storing it in a hung condition to maintain a nice shape.
- I noticed loss of color saturation in very light shades.
- The horns are suffering! Frequent maintenance of the nano-cream can reduce this, but with frequent use, count with it.

But overall, it is a very high quality bag with a timeless design and classic high-manufactured material.
Thank you so much! I am going to go for the papaya shade so not a very light colour. How often do you apply cream? Do you need to water proof the bag yourself or is the leather already treated?

Hello! I wear many bags, so I treat them all usually twice a year. Lancel bags have very gooc waterproof surface, but I all of my bags treat for the forst day by "crocodile fat" :) by Collonil (basic shoe creme). I don't think it's necessary, but I like prevention. :)

I was born in Paris and I remember my mother wearing Lancel bags and even owning a fabric suitcase by Lancel (which was unfortunately crushed by an airplane company on a trip to Japan ...).
I just bought myself a Ninon Medium crossbody bag for spring, in a beautiful parma color, with a second handle which is khaki and parma with the brand stitching. I will post irl pictures as soon as I receive it, for now it is a screenshot.

I am currently in Paris celebrating my birthday and met up with a couple of friends who were here (one is from Paris but is now my neighbor in Florida). I was not expecting anything from them but they gave me a birthday gift of a Lancel scarf and keychain. I had not heard of the brand before but these items seem high quality and my Parisian friend described it as an old luxury French brand similar to something like Celine just not as well known outside of France. I am hoping to find time to go to one of their stores while here or see some products maybe at Galeries Lafayette (assuming they carry them). Glad I found this thread even though old and hope to update more of anyone here still around.

I just got back from a trip to Paris and had a lovely time in the Lancel store. The young sales associate who helped me was wonderful! I love my new bag! I picked the style and my husband picked the color.

This is IMHO one of the more beautiful bags ever! This brand is really underrated, but their designs, leathers, quality, shop service... are fabulous. It is shocking that the same price level as Kors, Jacobs or RL... And this versatile color is a very good choice...
