Actually I bought it in a second hand store i Stockholm for like 10 dollars a few years ago. But I also emailed Lancel and yes it is a Elsa Sellier bucket bag from fall winter 07-08. So now I know more about it

Wow, that was an increadible good deal. She is in a fantastic condition. Good to know how the 10 years old interior looks. I know just the last 2 styles.
You should keep her, because the newest style from Lancel is very different and hopefully the company change their minds and make it like in the past. Means hold on their old models and and refresh them just. The bucket bags from lancel were the most famous ones and lots of company tried to copy them.
Enjoy her much

I discovered Lancel for the first time this week while visiting Paris. I was looking for a fall purse and went into stores for pretty much every luxury brand. I couldn't find anything at Ferragamo, Gucci, Prada, Chloe, Dior, LV, etc., etc. I happened to stumble onto a Lancel and got this beauty that I knew instantly was the right one (and at a much better price than most of my purse purchases!). It's such a pretty style and color (I got camel), and they made the front pocket quit cleverly so that you can put the short handle into it when you're using the long handle (so the short handle isn't just flapping around).

Bumping this to add my newest addition, the Medium Ninon in Coral. I'm absolutely in love with this bag  I always look at Lancel when I'm in Paris and I used to really want the Brigitte Bardot but never actually purchased from them. The Ninon I couldn't resist, it's so my style and such a beautifully made bag! Feels very weighty (in a good way, not in a "this bag is too heavy" way) and luxe. I also really loved the gray color but it was sold out already so I went for Coral. I would honestly love more of these in different shades!

The bag is really roomy in the Medium size, I was debating between the Medium and Large but I felt like the large didn't look as good and structured with this shape, so I went with the Medium. It has so many pockets and I love that the top handle is functional and not just decorative.

Shipping was also super fast, I ordered Saturday night and it came yesterday afternoon

I have no exactly this bag, but I know it. I wear for many years a few Lancel bags "bucket type": Premier Flirts, Elsa, Bucket (very similar to Ninon bucket) and Cabas (back pack) made of this type of leather and quality is perfect. The leather is very strog, soft, and let say "massive", very good and stable coloration. Precisely processed details and visibly high-quality sewing, complemented by hand stitches.
Looks luxurious and expensive. Very good ratio money for quality!
Some points to pay attention:
- Leather in pretty hard in the begining. Gradually softens when worn. It should be treated with a cream to prevent deformation.
- I recommend storing it in a hung condition to maintain a nice shape.
- I noticed loss of color saturation in very light shades. :(
- The horns are suffering! Frequent maintenance of the nano-cream can reduce this, but with frequent use, count with it.

But overall, it is a very high quality bag with a timeless design and classic high-manufactured material.

Hello
