I was out at a popular restaurant recently with my family and was carrying my favorite H bag. A woman, about ten years older than I, got up from her table and walked toward the door; I thought she was preparing to leave, but I was wrong. She stood directly in front of me staring at my bag without moving for a solid five minutes. She glared a bit, circled me, and then went back to her table and eyed me up and down for a few more minutes before taking leave of the restaurant about ten minutes later... Strange!!

She must have forgotten to take medication
Plus seeing your h bag
Shoot up blood pressure haha

One of my friends has kept saying that since I have no children if I die can her daughters have my Hermes bags? And she giggled. I was not sure how to think or respond this. Did she wish for me to die quickly so she can have my Hermes collection? I'm sure she was joking, but I didn't think it is funny at all.

That is just so mean. I have some relatives whose actions have made me really angry so I understand how you feel. It's definitely not funny at all.

OMG that's extremely rude, not funny at all! You should tell her that you already have a plan for your H bags after your death and it doesn't involve her or her children! Some people! SMH!

Wow. Just wow. I'm sure she wanted to put this across as a joke, but really, it is just bursting with judgement. I don't have children either and really resent statements by others that imply that because I don't, that must mean my life is meaningless in some way. I mean, really, is there no one else in your life other than HER children who might appreciate your H bags? It's a really awful thing to say on so many levels, but put forth as a joke so you can't really call her on it. I wonder, if you said something along the lines of, "Well, it depends on whether or not they're nice to me!" how she would respond. I bet all of a sudden she'd be serious about how nice her kids are! And then you could say, "Oh, I was just kidding. I mean, you were joking, weren't you? Because when I die, ALL my stuff is going to CHARITY."

Sorry for the rant. Pet peeve of mine!

SO WEIRD ~ why do people have to act so strangely over a bag?

Totally agree with you dear ! I can not emagine someone come over and try to touch my bag I think I will totally freak out..
As to strange behavior , last summer in Monte Carlo me and DH done some shopping in LV and they packages are rather bulky .
We was stroling with those bags and then we hear a shout " OH MY GOD !! Just look at that !!! A couple of elderly American ladies stopped at sidewalk and been pointing at us ...I start looking behind my back , but to my surprise that was addressed to us ... that was strange moment ..,

Bobmops, the way some people act in public is beyond my comprehension. :hugs:
