I love Rob Lowe, excellent example of doing fun roles and not needing a huge production team working on his media around the clock.

A lot of older concert goers have to take care of their college aged children and sometimes parents. This is her audience
As I do not see Jlo having reached a younger audience who has more disposable income.
Shakira has an audience of older fans and new ones. Her concerts are packed. Even with her big hiatus.
Jennifer thought she was more like Shakira. She obviously was dead wrong.
But she still can charge quite well for private events and has done so regularly.

It has to be super flattering for a Ben to get his wife to gravel at his feet. Jennifer Gardner catered to him for a very long time as well but she has kids with him.
He treated them both like crap, imo.
Yes, if he leaves her, she might lose her mind for real.

I think in her mind she’s bigger than Shakira, she was pissed when she had to share the Superbowl stage with her.

well ben did all sorts of huge romantic gestures when he was courting her again, right? and gave her a huge engagement ring? is that groveling?

I think her years of being a diva and a horrible person to sales associates, waiters, etc., have caught up. The olive oil glow has worn off.
The "peasants" that made her do count. She's getting a slice of humble pie. She might want to eat it and learn something.

How often has she gone on tour? I think I remember her touring with Marc Anthony when they were together, but has she ever done much solo touring? Is it possible that she's never been a big draw for audiences -- she just had great PR that convinced people she would have a great following if only she wasn't so busy making movies, judging reality shows, and doing other things that kept her from selling out arenas?

She can buy her own ring. And while that ring is rather spectacular, I’d rather get no ring that being with a man who looks like he is bothered(and not in a good way)anytime, he is with me.

We were supposed to attend a Justin Timberlake show and he cancelled it, too, so I think it's more than just Lopez that is having issues. Apparently Pink and the Jonas Brothers also cancelled portions of their tours a few weeks ago. And the Black Keys said they cannot fill the big venues they booked and had to cancel their tour. Between Timberlake and JLo I got back close to $350 so now that can fund something else now. The fees on tickets make up such a large portion these days.

JT is here this week and sold out a huge Dallas arena. Here the giant arenas are still packed and typically sold out.

I don’t love giant concerts personally, hard to get the sound right!

We had tickets for the JT show in SC and got refunded. Agree with the sound issues! We often go to a concert and then relive it by watching a better version on YouTube afterwards. I took my mom to the Rolling Stones a few weeks ago and they were incredible. They were playing the exact same night as JT or we would have gone to that show. JT had the smaller arena (not sold out) and the Rolling Stones sold out the bigger Allegiant.
