I'm shocked not shocked to read that she canceled her tour. My friends and I had tickets for a July date. I hope this does help the marriage survive. I'm a romantic and want them to work it out.
Me too. Its not like he didnt know what he was getting into. Maybe their thing is just to be polar opposites and he is salty when she trots him out or he gets papped, but they have fun in their day-to-day. Who knows.

It could be a positive thing that her career is taking some hits... putting her marriage and family first would be a good thing for her to try. It seems to be a limelight vs privacy issue they have. At least we're not hearing about drinking and drugs and affairs.
Was it right after her twins or maybe when they were toddlers and possibly around her divorce from Marc… I think she stepped back from the limelight a bit then came back with a vengeance. She became more popular than ever and started to make a ton of money with music, brand deals, movies etc.
In her latest interview, she did look frail. So why not rest and work on her personal issues?
^ I agree. I think she definitely should step back. Fortunately for her she has the means. Her starlight has been taking hits lately too. It seems someone’s PR has been working against JLo and not in a favorable light. Her kids will fly the nest soon to live their adult lives. Enjoy them. Time flies. And perhaps work on her relationship with Ben. I can see them working thru this IF THEY BOTH want to.
How many movies have you seen about celebrities who burn themselves out ending up well? The only one I can think of is Loretta Lynn. She somehow managed to figure out how to do it all after a breakdown and in spite of the fact that her husband cheated, she kept her marriage together. But so many others ended up six feet under. I think it's just their nature. I was watching The Doors again recently and it was inevitable that Morrison, with his obsession with death and the havoc he wreaked on his body with drugs and alcohol was going to end up dead.
I wouldn't expect her to change. She is who she is. Driven. Need for attention. It's hard for me to understand why he even got back with her. She even said she had to marry him quickly before he changed his mind. I guess she figured he wouldn't change his mind AFTER they got married but that's pretty silly, really.
Yeah, but JLo’s burn out is more about self absorption than external factors that plague many celebrities such as drugs and alcohol. Hollyweird brings out their trauma to the forefront and sadly hide behind addiction. She’s only addicted to herself and the spotlight. Not sure which is worst tho bc both are dangerous, imo.
Maybe, but I didn't feel she was really the problem in that situation. I think Ike was the one overworking her.

I read somewhere today that Ben thinks she needs to a better team repping her...basically that her team is steering her to mediocre material. I don't doubt it. I have a feeling that she is a cash cow for a lot of folks and that their recommendations for projects is based on their own cut. Anyway, who knows how much of anything that's written is true?
Anyway, I hope that they are able to get back on track!
