I just purchased Bruce the Zebra from Neiman Marcus! :D

I really wanted the Tiger first but whatever site I saw him on, it indicated he's not deliverable until May something. Further, he wasn't available on the NM site at all. I liked going through NM because _bates offers 8% back and there's FREE shipping! I couldn't pass that up! I'll spring for the Tiger next. :graucho: Maybe tomorrow if it's readily available on the JS site. Will call customer service tomorrow. I'll spring the shipping and no _bates break for that one. Aside from loving jungle themed things Hubby's university mascot is a Tiger. Add to that, though I'm not into astrology, per the Chinese horror-scope(spelled that way on purpose) I'm a Tiger!!!!

In the meantime, I'm excited about the Zebra! :yahoo:

I just wanted to add two pictures I lifted off the Internet for the JS thread because :useless: and because they are so very drool worthy!

And per the JS blog, a woman with a nice collection of JS charms opts to wear them on a necklace draped over a black purse. The charm draped necklace was noted as being heavy. I'd gladly wear that necklace, heavy and all, right around my neck! :yes:

I sure hoped this thread would catch fire... Perhaps the droves of people who are JS charm collectors are not active on TPF...

Just wanted to share my Bruce Zebra charm here since it literally just arrived! My iPhone photos cannot capture the true beauty of this charm. The crystals are so brilliant! The bling factor is super high! I will definitely add the other animals!


I ordered my charm from Neiman Marcus. At least on this charm, it seems JS has changed from their elaborate collectible boxes. I was disappointed to see this basic cardboard box though I'm not a "box" person anyway.

Interesting... The box slip noted the charms are hand made in China. I wonder why someone took the time to black out the $95 price?

Wanted to mention that I contacted a couple of JS charms sellers on *bay... Uh... I'm going to stick with buying my JS charms from Neiman Marcus. The two I contacted were not very friendly and one, spoke with her on the phone, sounded less than credible with what she said.

I love the *bates savings and the free shipping offered at NM. Plus I don't have to worry about authenticity.

I want the Tiger charm now but I'm telling myself to just hold off until NM gets it per their website on 5/30/14. I'm so tempted to just buy it from the JS site though. :drool:

I have literally stalked the JS Ian Tiger charm so much that I just went ahead and ordered it from NM even though its expected ship date is before May 30th. At least I can sleep now knowing it's paid for and on it's way to me once NM receives it! It'll be charm number 3 for me! :yahoo::woot:

^I'm sorry to hear you sold your charms however I do understand the concept if getting rid of things you don't utilize. Do you have a Strongwater bracelet or necklace? Just trying to understand how you ideally planned to wear them. I like wearing these type charms on a necklace. I need one by Strongwater. Mind you, I also like wearing a charm on my gold necklaces as a pendant.

Thank you regarding the charm placed on my purse zipper. If I don't want to wear a charm on my body I love having one or a few on my bag/cell phone case/key case proves always fun for personal enjoyment. :)
