issue with Borough hardware

Here is a pic of my zipper pull from my Alpine Moss I purchased in mid October when they first were released.
Ignore the mark near the u shaped connector and the lines at the end, they are reflections from the back of my IPhone.
I don't think mine is too bad I just don't want it to get a lot worse. I love this bag!!!

This is exactly what my Alpine Moss looks like....other Boroughs, including mini Chambray, have no problem at all. Seems to be limited to Alpine. Now I'm trying to decide if I just ignore it and keep it, or return it. Seems likely that they aren't going to fix this one. Bummer!

Oh geez! I was considering the Alpine Moss myself, but then decide that I don't like the different colored handles and strap. But if Coach make the Chambray in a large...

I noticed the discoloration on my Alpine Moss. My SA kindly returned my bag and ordered a new one. Sadly, the new one looks even worse. I think the hardware must be defective on that color specifically. My oxblood Borough looks great. Now I wish I had kept the first Aline Moss. I have a feeling if I try to order another one, it will also be defective. It makes me sad because it's such a beautiful color.

Has anyone heard if they will reissue the color again in the fall?

I'm so sorry. That really stinks. Does your newer one have the longer strap? I was hoping maybe they had fixed the hardware issue when they made that change.

On a positive note, I am glad it seems only to limited to the Moss borough, but I am sad that there is even an issue at all. What a bummer.

Went to FP store on the 25th to use PCE on my first Borough in black pebbled, the bags on display had discolored/ blackened/ pitted zipper pulls and hardware.
Disappointed! Came home with no Borough

I have both the Alpine Moss and the Black pebbled and only have the problem with the Alpine Moss.

Thank you! love.my.bags has posted that she saw display bags with the same problem-since she was looking for a black pebbled borough, I wanted to make sure it's not the black that has the problem.

I bought the AM a couple weeks ago and haven't taken it out of the dust bag. now I'm too worried to use it.
