Is this a defect, is this normal for this Chanel item?

Whenever I buy bags I generally ask them to bring out all the bags they have, inspect them and take the one that looks the best to me.

Yeah, I would do the same but it's tough when there are only 5 left across the country. I wish I had purchased it earlier.

If there are other a lot worse than mine, that makes me feel a bit better about the one I have. Although, I am concerned about how it will hold up over time...

Hi everyone, in the spirit of the Chanel mini craze, I was first on the reserve list at my local Saks. I got a text from my SA today that the black mini with light gold hardware I'd be waiting months for arrived damaged/defective and apparently they were only slated to receive one!

What are the chances that they'll receive a replacement mini if the first one arrived damaged and couldn't even be sold? I feel like by now, I've totally missed my chance to get on a reserve list anywhere else to snag a mini this season; I texted some other SAs I know, but no luck. Incredibly disappointed!

Thanks very much in advance!

Hello! I recently purchased a square mini in ivory chervon caviar and noticed that the stitching on one side of the purse didn't match the other side. The left side has large gaps in-between each stitch whereas the right side has no gaps. This extends to the back of the purse and underneath the flap. I only have two other chervon pieces and they do not have a visible difference in stitching. Is this normal with chervon pieces or is this something that would be considered a quality issue and sent for repairs or replacement? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

This is strange... This bag is such a beautiful color. If you hadn't pointed it out, I would've thought it was just the lighting. I do see that the stitch holes on the left side of the picture are more obvious than the right.

If this bugs you, I'd say return or see if SA has another

Thank you everyone! I should have mentioned I bought this from a personal seller who sourced it from another country. Her sales are final, but she advised me to contact a boutique to see if this qualifies for quality issues. I've never been in this position before. The receipt is from Singapore and has blacked out sections to hide her personal information. I'll reach out to my trusted SA to see if anything can be done, but thank you again everyone! I thought I was being overly fussy!:heart::heart:

Hi! I was looking at the front clasp of my new boy bag, and curious if this looks normal to other owners. The inner lock is not symmetrical, (when it is unbuckled), nor are the sides. It’s subtle. Check out the pics & please let me know. I realize these bags are hand made, and have slight variances. The clasp mechanically works perfectly otherwise; it’s more of a visual issue. Yes, before you say it, I am very picky!!! TIA!IMG_1537817813.855262.jpgIMG_1537817861.253247.jpg

I’m picky too! My boy bag’s clasp looks like that too. It’s normal.

I don't own one ( I wish I did!) But that looks like all my friends ones who own them .I think it may be normal but I don't own one myself so can only go by what I see on other people .
Fwiw though- I love it! It's my dream bag.
