Is this a defect, is this normal for this Chanel item?

you’d expect lambskin to be more slouchy / not symmetrical

took it to New Bond Street in London, they were so helpful and immediately offered to swap it for a new one. As it was “faulty” they were able to do a straight swap

Glad you could exchange I do think it’s within the range of normal for a soft sided lamb bag

are leather crack

I don’t think this is normal and would take it back. If that’s the texture of leather straps these days, that is terrible.

I just bought this seasonal small flap in lambskin. It’s my first lambskin bag. I noticed this area on the flap that’s the size of a thumbprint that has different texture. It’s rough to touch and not puffy and lustrous as the rest of the bag. I’ve never used the bag. Is this something to be concerned about? Anything I can do about it? Thank you 😊

Could be just the grain of the leather but if it really bothers you, perhaps ask to exchange?
