Oh yes, the birkin Q...

It's for each person to decide, I guess. It's all so relative.. a lot of the things I love and spend time on are probably not worth time/money/focus to someone else.

At times I truly enjoy the artistry of the Birkin esp the type I bought (vibrato) ...other times I feel completely insane for spending over X amount on a bag. again esp. this type of Birkin because it seems a bit too delicate for my current lifestyle.

I change my mind about this regularly.:nogood: I've gotten *this* close to selling it a few times but then later waves of relief that I still have it because I haven't seen an exact twin yet. I know and have been told (by other TPFers, my mom, friends) that if I let it go, there's a snowball in 'H' chance of getting the same again.

There's also the dawning realization that this means I'll need another or an HAC. ...Then that will be it. Really. The End.

I wonder if this expansion project is the reason why some members who have purchased more recently made Birkins are experiencing problems (crooked turn plate, seperating strap plate etc.)...

Yes Birkin worth the money. But it's not easy to get it, have to wait listed for 2 year here in my country unless you are a celebrity.
Lots of Reseller boutique, but i personally prefer to buy from the Hermes boutique.

I have seen more birkins on the shelves in the past 6-12 months than I have in the last 2 years before that.

I don't own a Birkin yet because I am picky and want to place a SO when I will be ready, in about 6 months. The thing that I can say is that if you can afford one you should go for her because she is worth it!! Of course she is a little old fashioned BUT it is a great investment!! The thing that I don't like is that maybe you have to wait in order to have the one that you really want and if you find the one, by accident, you have to be quite quick and take her!!! :yes::smile1:
