Is the Damier Azur too hard to keep clean?

Two days ago I took the plunge and purchased the new Figheri PM tote in Azure (my first Azure). I am searching all over the forums for info on this "color transfer" issue or how dirty the canvas could get. If I hear people say it is a problem, I'm taking it back while I can. (I'm not using it yet.) The style and size of the GM meets my needs. I just wish I could find out if LV will release it later in Mono.

I called the 800 Vuitton # and they said they "don't know" what's coming out, but that they see no information available that it is going to be done in Mono "anytime soon". Probably a standard answer they tell everyone.

Now.... WHO out there would know if the Figheri is later going to come out in Mono...like say this Fall/Winter season of 2012? Does anybody somehow get to know? I want to use it as my (most) everyday bag this summer, but my time to be able to return the Azure Figheri GM will soon run out.

Meantime...I will keep searching more of the forums. ;) Thank you!

I saw the look book for the rest of this year & Figheri is only in azur. Sorry!

I wish I could say the same about my speedy 35 but... I can't :(..

I have a speedy 35 since 2009 and it has a lot of issues :( color transfer and fading ;(...I can post pics if you like;)

Here are some pictures.. In one side is fading with a little color transfer not much but I am super picky!! And the other side is not much.. Button and front are perfect!!! Super clean!

BTW, I use a bottom shaper for the bag not to sag;) in one of the pictures you can see bottom clean straight because of the shaper:)

Applegal, I think you should get it! Any AZUR is such a beautiful bag:). Did you see the pictures of my speedy 35 AZUR ??? It is right before this post:)...but That doesn't mean that will happen to you but my point is that you should really get what your heart tells you and enjoy it!!! Good luck!

Thank you. It is not so bad. You really have to search for the color transfer to see it. I understand you because I am super picky too. But your bag is looking good. I have never seen pictures of color transfer on azur before.

Thank you Mrs Darling, I am going to let it go and put it for sale this week:(. I am going to miss it but I need to move on to get another:) thanks for your opinion!
