Is the Damier Azur too hard to keep clean?

Speedy owner checking in. One year in of near daily use I have a little rubbing on the corners but I find it very easy to maintain. I got quite a bit of denim on one side but it wiped clean. I've also taken it traveling on a plane with no issues.

I bought the Azur Speedy in '07 and two days after owning it I had a water bottle leak inside it. The piping on one side was damaged but I just recently had it repaired. Like the others have mentioned there is a chance for color transfer when wearing colors that bleed. The handles have patina that is too dark for my liking and I wish I would have treated them before wearing. All of this being said... you can always replace the vachetta. I am thinking I will eventually get the handles replaced on mine. Go for the purchase... it's a beautiful bag that you will enjoy! :smile1:

That's what my question on one of the the thread that I post pros and cons on azur , I'm thinking of getting artsy in azur and I have the azur 35 that I hardly use coz of being afraid of getting dirty and how will the the patina will be look like in , azur .

I have just one Azur bag. It was one of the first ones made, which was 2006. I was on a waiting list before they came out, so it is about as old as azur can be. I used conditioner on it once a yr. but thats it. Not babied, just used. No stains, watermarks or color transfer. Easy bag to keep clean. Just condition with Applegard or similar and keep your hands clean and it will be fine.
