Hi I am looking for a new bag and have my eyes on Neverfull DA mm. Live in Sweden and my thoughts are is the bag to light in Sweden? Yes we have dark months from late October to beginning of March. I want to have a lighter bag in my collection. I have LV monogram Delightful, lv Alma Pm Damier ebene, lv Pochette metis in reverse. Want to buy also speedy b. To have in my collection. But back to my thoughts about Neverfull. Is it stupid to buy a light one or should I buy a damier ebene in NF? Is it sensitive on the canvas?
Have a wonderful day everyone
Thanks
I think you should go for it! You can still carry it in the winter months. I wear mine with a lot of dark clothes during our short winter here in Florida. But, I'd still carry it if I lived up North. DA looks great against blacks, greys, etc. It sounds like you really want a light bag too.

I was the one saying i would never ever get neverfull. I really despised this bag. Too many ladies own it, and it’s expensive for what you get- no zipper, one pocket etc. And then somehow i ended up getting one (spur of a moment decision while shopping for something completely different). I was convinced i would return it. Well long story short i didn’t:) there is a reason this bag is popular. It’s extremely light, very spacious and the part i like the beat is it really does go with everything. It will last you for years, definitely get it!:)

Same. I hated on this bag - and all LV canvas SO HARD. Four months later I owned two NF - first a mono then the DA. Like you said, there's a reason it's so popular.

I just bought my first neverfull! I have a few other LV bags but I just really wanted a classic tote bag and actually purchased the DA Propriano, took it home and regretted it. I took it back the next day and got the DA mm with rose ballerine lining and I LoVE it. Yes lots of people have it but soooooo what. I watched that YouTube and lol —she’s a little out of touch. With the exchange I also got a super adorable Rosalie coin purse [emoji173]️ View attachment 4692870

I took the propriano home first but it was $600 more and I thought it looked too mature and I dress super casual 95% of the time...

The mm was the perfect size and style for me and I see them everywhere but who cares [emoji23]
Congrats on your beautiful NF! It looks great on you!

Yes! I have it in black epi leather and use it everyday for work--I love it! It's truly a classic yet will always look fresh. If you're thinking about getting it for your first job, consider the epi leather. It looks rich and understated and the leather definitely gets better looking with age. While I see lots of neverfulls, I rarely see them in the epi leather.

Ok I never care for the monogram until more than a decade of owning Lv bags now I’m loving the monogram. If you think the neverfull is too common, get a limited edition world tour, or the world tour or the heritage version, that way your bag will be less common.

I was one of those who thought that monogram is tacky and neverfulls are just too common. So I refrained from purchasing it until one day I received the DE as a gift! My gosh I found that it was popular for a good reason. Compared to full leather bags, it is lightweight, easy to maintain, carefree, and so easy to use! (Goes with jeans, leggings, summer outfits, winter coats, etc) I ended up having all three prints......And I'm loving my Monogram GM the most LOL! So I'd say try it! If you ever find yourself not liking it, you can always resell it and recoup at least half that you paid for it.

I would definitely base your decision off of what you like and what bag will work for your lifestyle. I bought my first neverfull last year and LOVE it! Trends and popularity will come and go and with the kind of money these bags cost you really have to love it and get it for the right reasons. To me it was a staple and is the perfect multi purpose bag and works super well for a carry on! Also I’d rather spend money on a bag that I consider to be a classic, will hold its value, and is of good quality. Also for the most part, you can repair or “hack” many issues that would arise over the years.

The Goyard St. Louis tote is a good alternative as well, if you have a boutique in your area. The Neverfull has increased in price significantly over the past few years - I don't think I would re-purchase it (but honestly, I don't use mine that much)
