Is it possible to get pen marks out of Coach leather?

Did you try Apple Care (the conditioner, not the cleaner)?

My 2 year old found a pen and wrote ALL OVER every cushion on my leather couch when I was out of the room washing my hands. I literally wanted to cry when I saw it. I didn't have any leather cleaner, but I had the conditioner, so I tried that. Every bit of the black ink came out!

ooohhh no. i agree with trying the conditioner. i have a white leather bag and have used the conditioner on several occasions with success. i did remove one small ink mark and denim transfer. good luck.

Thanks based on what I read here I actually ordered some of the Apple conditioner a few days ago so I will try that when it arrives.

Ya know in my obssession with that bag at one point I did think to myself "Stacey there is a reason you don't own anything white" but I wanted it too bad and figured if I was careful enough.... Hell I didn't even make it through a week lol SO my luck, it really is almost funny.

Who/where do i order the apple conditioner from?

Thanks 9 I'll add that to the list and as for giving him a bill for the bag, no way he could afford to pay me for it and I keep telling myself it was just an accident. I'm just going to cross fingers, toes and nosehairs that if I can't get it out and if not my leather guy who works on my shoes can.

I do have to take responsibility for the fact that I did buy a bag that I can't afford to replace (even if I could find another small spectactor) and I guess these are the chances we take with these beauties when we buy them and sport them in public and in the grand scheme of things some ink on a bag really doesn't add up to much, be pretty petty to be so over the top about it considering all the unfortunate things happening to people in the world.

So how am I doing in talking myself out of making this so damn important to me? lol

That's a great thing to realize, and I applaud you for taking that responsibility. I also cannot afford to replace a bag, because each one is a huge purchase for me.

I have a similar story to yours: I was at work as a dispatcher for a small town police dept. I had my bag tucked out of the way across the small room, but on the floor so I could get to it easily. The janitor came in for some reason or another and STEPPED ON THE CORNER of my WHITE pleated ergo hobo:wtf: :cursing: I almost had kittens. There was a partial boot-print on my brand-new baby. Luckily, I was able to rub it off with a clean cloth, but you can bet your buttons I stuffed it into my tiny cubby drawer after that!

Sometimes it takes a hard knock to learn some things :p Hopefully your bag will survive!

It's not coming out tried all the suggestions and now it looks like the the leather around the spot is starting to get damaged from trying.

Going to take it to my leather shoe/luggage guy and see what he says but it's going to cost me, paid over $60 for him to try and save my Camel 07 Legacy Shoulder that got coke spilled all over it. (course this was before I read all the helpful hints here I may have been able to save it myself had I tried)

Appreciate all the positive thoughts and support ladies Thanks!
