Is it possible to get pen marks out of Coach leather?

I would try baby wipes first, rubbing gently (that is how I clean mine up and it does the job well). That should fade the mark a litttle -depending on how long it's been there-
Then try some soap and water and let it dry.

Please don't try hairspray. It will damage the texture and might peel :(

Thanks for the tips ladies!!! I'm gonna give simple soap and water a try first, and then may try an eraser/magic eraser. Those options seem least likely to ruin the bag. I'll report back about it if it works!

Have you tried a regular pencil eraser?
How about Scotch tape to gently lift it off?
(I have had good results with Scotch tape)

You are not supposed to use Magic Erasers on painted surfaces so I cant imagine that the coated canvas is much different than a painted surface.
Be careful if you decide to try that one.....

So any luck yet?

I have a red ink mark on my Heritage stripe wallet and I haven't had any luck getting it off. I use baby wipes to clean my coated canvas. I agree on the scotch tape, it works on lots of things!

Ok, so soap and water, eraser, and scotch tape didn't work at all. I'm at a loss. I don't want to try baby wipes or magic eraser if it will further damage the bag!!! :crybaby:

You can try to call Coach and see what they think--they're probably not as knowledgeable as us. If you can wait, Baglady39 may be able to offer up some suggestions. She's travelling and busy with looking after her mom now. You can ask GreenPixie too. They're both very knowledgeable ladies as well as exceptional MODs.

WOW, I can't believe none of the above mentioned would get a pen mark off of the coated canvas?! I thought that was the one HUGE benefit of the coated canvas...EASY CLEAN-UP! I wouldn't have even been that worried over it when it happened but after reading this I don't know how much I'd invest in one!! I've been thinking they'd be great for winter with slush and all, but who know's?!

Back to your subject......if it makes you feel ANY better I cleaned a regular signature kahki Carly with the magic eraser and it ROCK's!!! The bag was in AWFUL shape when I got it, soap and water helped but the magic eraser was a total HOME RUN!!!

Best of luck hun, we are all "keeping our fingers crossed" for ya!!!!

I have a crazy idea for you and it's up to you if you wanna try it out: Spot treat it with bleach with the colour guard. Lots of Q-tips and kleenex.

A couple years ago, I, the idiot, forgot to cap my green liquid pen when I put it back into my coach pencil case/makeup case with black lining, silver/black/white black signature pattern. I ended up with a green ink blob the size of my thumb. I was in complete shock from the moment I saw it and rushed home as soon as I could. Took out the bleach and a lot of Q-tips and started spot treating it. I didn't dilute the bleach 'cause of the darker signature. Slowly but surely, it came out. I figure the longer I didn't do anything, it was going to absorb and stick n' stay. About 2 hours later, I finally rested my hands and relaxed. Called my husband to tell him about my relief.

Today when I look at it, the fabric feels the same. Some very light green ink remains on the harder corners I could not, for the life of me, come off. But at least it's better than living with a green blob stain.

I'm going to give the baby wipes a try. I'll just start gently at first, and get the alcohol free kind. Thanks Taralindsey!

SLN, I'm afraid bleach wouldn't work because of the coated canvas, but I'll keep this in mind if it ever happens to my fabric bags!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and I'll let you know how baby wipes work out!

Good luck Jeh3v! I like the magic eraser idea and may consider it in the future (and test a small spot first) if my Heritage Stripe bags ever get dirty.

OMG this giant douche at work walked by my desk carrying a pen and swiped my brand freaking new Sabrina. It is not a big line maybe an inch but it is on the front of the bag on the white parmchment leather.

I tried the tip with the Q-tip & alchohol in the cleaning your coach thread but it didn't work and started to affect the leather.

I'm totally spazzed! I can't believe this...

What do I do next besides put a contract hit out on my co-worker?

Any advice would be appreciated
