So, in the exciting world of what can you find during shortages of anything related to cleaning or first aid, here are my success stories of the day. At the grocery store, though I thankfully haven't had issues with toilet paper when we run out, they had these huge 20 packs of Scott, which is the brand we use. It is way too much for us, and normally I buy 8 or 12, but this was my only option, so we have lots. lol (I don't really buy in bulk for lack of space--and this is considered bulk for me!)

I found hydrogen peroxide at a small drugstore. And I found rubbing alcohol at another drugstore. Pretty exciting! lol

On a cleaning note, does anyone here use Norwex? Thoughts? It is that company that sells the cloths and such for cleaning that don't require cleaners. If I get some responses from anyone, I will share where I am at with this, but wanted to hear if others use it or not first.

Never heard of it either — would love to hear your thoughts later

I found out today one of my new coworkers who I met once two weeks ago was on a vent in the hospital not doing well. He just moved from CA and apparently picked up the virus somewhere.

He was living with the owner, office next to mine, and the owner’s son still working with me and in my office today. The wife/mom is apparently infected too.

Not one person said a word to me until it was brought up as a by the way in staff meeting today. I was beyond livid. How can I stay safe if you won’t stay home knowing you are living with sick people?

My mother and her husband were just here with me for the week. I could have infected them because you can’t send an email, open your mouth, text, nothing more than a week ago when you obviously found out? I am still angry.

Before I left today, they said the coworker had been taking off the vent and they were going to let him go. He’s like mid-40s. So very sad. I feel so horrible for his family. So many what ifs.

Anyway, take care of yourselves because even in the most blatant of situations, people still can’t or won’t do the right common sense thing.

That’s terrible how people are so careless, thoughtless or indifferent about it — you have every right to know being in close proximity and breathing the same air as them for days. Just because a person doesn’t show symptoms doesn’t mean he/she is virus-free. So pissed off for you.
