Today I was having a thought.... whats the most that you have spent in a purse? Mine would have to be $404 cad ($275 usd) for the rogue 25 dark fairy tale (i love the purple colour and the bag but if i had to do it again I wouldn't...exchange rate was and is a killer)
For my contemporary brand bags, the most I have spent is $394 for my beloved light blue Dakotah in 2015 (bought nwt from a reseller, retail was $525). Most of my Coach were bought on sale or at the outlet. I am not looking to buy any more contemporary bags but if I were, I wouldn’t spend more than around $500.

My most expensive was a Balenciaga First that was just over NZ$900 including shipping and taxes . My Coach vintage bags I use to try and get for under NZ$100 but then they added the tax to sale on Ebay last year and Ive found that the prices of the bags have risen. If I stay under the NZ$200 mark Im happy

You can buy it from the Costco web site without a membership with a 5% mark up (or instacart) and still save a lot. Their peanut and almond butters are dry roasted; so that might be why they are around half the price of the brands that make it raw. I've considered making it too. I "made" my own in a store a few times, lol. Let me know if you try it! I've stopped eating peanut butter because I break out and look puffy when I eat it...not a great look. The Kirkand brand is so good, it's hard to believe they aren't hiding something addictive in there.

The Kirkland peanut butter is my favorite. It is so good! I can't have have much due to not having a gallbladder, but I keep it at home for when I do. Unfortunately, my guys don't like having to mix it before using it. That means we always end up with hard parts at the bottom. Oh well.

That's a bonus you like it pure! Aha, maybe it's the added sea salt that makes Kirkland's so addictive. The almond butter is just dry roasted almonds. I can't believe we just tried them this year. They should hire me as an ambassador...as long as I don't mention my reaction. ;)

I just bought some. I hope it is as good as the peanut one.

I buy the peanut butter you have to stir. This is what I do. I take the lid off and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. That makes it much easier to stir. After it is all stirred up, I put the lid back on and put it in the refrigerator. Refrigerated, it doesn't separate.

Just in case you are having a great day, my 13 year old niece was chauffeured to the airport this morning to be flown first class to her new movie set in Canada for her starring role to be shot over the next three months.

And I am off the peanut! :crybaby: I was also in my 40s when I could afford my first designer bag but whatever. I’m going to go pick out my bridge and cardboard box.

I will join you in mourning peanut butter. I love peanut butter but am now having allergic reactions to it. The Dr confirmed I am now allergic to it, said some adults do become allergic, no reason as to why :confused1::crybaby:
How sad! My daughter is allergic to it. When we go out with her I'm not allowed to have peanuts on my pad thai.

I just read a book on how bad peanuts are for you too this weekend. I guess that’s why I was priced out. To stop eating what doesn’t serve me. I have nothing against lettuce but I do need a little something extra in my life.

I am on keto , have been since mid may,so no peanut butter , no carbs no sugar , no nothing, i miss carbs , oh well lost 2 sizes so far and my stomach pains are gone (hence on keto turns out I am glutten and lactose intolerant, which i never was before)
Laura regarding your niece whoah, how lucky, my grandma always have said some people are born with a star in the forehead (the lucky ones) and some people with a star in the a**, i think i was born with the a** one ahahhaa

Me too. I’ve done ketoflex for a couple years now and it’s been health and body changing. Congrats on your success! :yahoo:

ETA: Bake with almond flour. I have a new recipe where I can make a biscuit in two minutes in the microwave. It’s the coolest thing and I make almond bread quite frequently.

A day of mourning please. I am officially off the PB. Smuckers, I knew you when. :crybaby:

On the plus side, I just bought and sliced my first avocado. We’re still looking at one another. I haven’t used it, yet.

Be careful of avocado injuries (“avocado hand”). Supposedly, due to its rise in popularity (hello avocado toast), more and more people are cutting their hands while slicing avocado and needing medical treatment. Maybe have Stick slice it for you.
