There are a few restaurants I love that it would be very easy to spend $300 per couple [emoji85] If you go all out and get apps, salad, entree, side and a few fancy cocktails or a nice bottle of wine. But it’s usually for a celebration or something special so my BF and I maybe do that a couple times a year.

We’ve found a nice way to enjoy some of these restaurants on a smaller scale. One of my favs has great ambiance so we will go and have dinner at the bar and order a couple of apps and salads and some cocktails. Its the type of place where even their salads are very satisfying! It’s a little more relaxed that way and less food and cheaper but then we get to enjoy their yummy food! But I do love left overs from the bigger dinners [emoji23]

On the other hand I do love going to the pub and having a giant beer and nachos LOL

Jeeze, I have tons of pages to catch up on!! This thread moves so fast.

After ordering and returning 3 different bags to match my strap I finally found one I love. I didn't like it with the berry dreamer but for some reason love it with berry Charlie!! This bag has great organization and will be easy to use when I have my almost 2 year old with me. Wipes/diapers fit well in back section leaving plenty of room for my stuff in the other 2 sections.

Agreed. Looks good!

DH and I watched a couple of Marie Kondo episodes on Netflix and we were both motivated to do some cleaning. I ended up going though my makeup/hair stuff, my clothes, and my bags.
DH made me bring all of my bags into our living room. He could tell I was overwhelmed, so he suggested sorting into 3 piles- Love, Like, and sell. After I did that he told me to pick 5 bags from the “like” pile to keep, bringing my total to 33 (3 of those are small crossbodies like the soho). I now have 13 bags to list! It feels good to have an organized closet.
I think from here I will speed date my other bags and sell/keep accordingly.
I’ve noticed that my other problem areas with “collecting” includes earrings, bikinis, makeup, and shoes.
I hope you all have a great week!

Nice job Sarah. He has some good ideas... it allows you to indulge but not overwhelm yourself. Honestly, i cut my collection back because it was just impractical and actually stressed me out, what is the point in that?!

Enjoy your refined collection.

My DH also likes to throw away everything. One time, he threw out his Disneyland pass at the end of the day after our visit (the pass was good for 4 visits a year, so he only got to use it once, guess he didn’t know/realize/remember).

Oops! My dh goes in waves, but he is careful to inquire with me first.. guess he likes breathing.(joking.. er sorta)

Oh wow that’s great! Maybe I need to watch some episodes because I can’t seem to get motivated to do it. I had a 3 day weekend, which would have been perfect to start but nope. Didn’t do it. I cleaned. I just didn’t organize or get rid of anything. [emoji85]

We all get like that. I have only heard of this person but never looked into further i have no interest, i mean if it works for you great but i am not a fan generally of these concepts.

I bet the jewelry costs a bundle too! The complete outfit may cost more than my entire collection!
I read a comment awhile ago on another thread where someone said they could take a chance on buying a $300 purse because it was cheap, and wouldn't be a big deal to donate if it didn't work out. They said it was just the cost of a nice dinner.

We used to know a doctor who used superglue for cuts on her skin. It sounds weird to have it in your mouth.

First part left me ----> I am sorry but that sounds ridiculous.

Second part, yes gluing of wounds is common with livestock as well... last summer came up as a possible option to save Ruby(my young ewe) with the attack to her jugular but the wound was to deep to save her.
