I did! Loving the doctors bag heritage in oak and the black woven small Grace! I don't have any more freebies left and the bags are both on sale so it's really tempting to get at least one of the two!
Omg, I broke down and bought another black bag. I blame this entirely on @houseof999 because she mentioned the black woven Grace was on sale on the Roots website (thank you, house! I love my new bag). :graucho: By the time I checked it out, the woven Grace was sold out  but another bag I have had my eye on was still on sale and available.

Here's small Gracie in box leather with raspberry lining! Oh, she is such a cutie!

Gracie is a smaller version of mine and @HesitantShopper 's black Grace which are Prince leather. I love the quilted leather, rolled handles, adjustable shoulder strap and brass hardware in a style I already know works for me. While she seems similar to my Sophie and Nolita Prairie Bud, I prefer the soft, wide shoulder strap which is easily adjustable to go from decorative to a functional shoulder or Crossbody strap. Sophia's shoulder strap is too short, and I find the Nolita is not a good shoulder bag as she's too wide at the base and sticks out on me.

Because the Gracie is soft and pliable, I think I have finally found a good travel handbag as I could pack it if needed, it fits in my Longchamp totes and it can easily go from day (shoulder) to night (handheld). She's "Made in Canada" so I know she's tough and can go the distance.

Oh wow, what a gorgeous bag. I love the quilted look and the raspberry lining. So pretty and elegant. You made me look at the Roots website just now, lol. I saw that gorgeous small black box/woven Grace with the pink lining. I didn’t see yours though (I like the quilted leather). This is seriously one good looking bag. Congrats and enjoy ML.

Very nice! I agree about the shoulder strap on the Sophia. It’s just a bit too short for me. This is a great silhouette! Are all Roots bags made in Canada?

Thank you, IM! Isn’t Gracie cute? I’ll do a comparison with my small Grace tomorrow for size. We’re sitting cuddled up together on the sofa. I just love her raspberry lining. I think my LV essentials will look very nice against all that pink!

I like the quilted leather as well. It feels elegant but not so expensive ($114 CAN) that I won’t overly fuss while travelling. I don’t have a bag with this look so I felt it was ok to welcome a new addition.

There is another Grace in the woven leather that’s one size smaller than the one online. That’s the one that sold out. I wish I was faster to have bought that one because I think that one was the same size as my Grace. No matter. I have more than enough.

Thanks, house! I’m so glad you said something about the sale! Gracie was in limited supply so I’m lucky to have one. I like her size and lovely details. We should have many years of good times and travel together. :hbeat:

Hi Chiichan! While the shoulder strap is too short to use on Sophia, I love it for decoration. It’s a perfect hanging length on the Sophia’s I have.

But this bag is going to be very handy dandy! I have to find a fun purse charm.

All Roots bags are made in Canada which makes them a great souvenir to buy if you visit here, and I like supporting the local/national economy when I can.
