I sold another bag yesterday! It was the juicy one I mentioned someone was interested in, I sent them a few messages and more pics to answer their questions so I was excited to see a notification that I had an offer on it! Well turns out the offer was from someone else [emoji33] I accepted it because it was a very fair offer and a repeat customer!

The last bag I sold to her she loved so much and sent me a sweet message about how well it was packaged and it must have been loved because it was so clean [emoji23]

I sold a juicy couture bag, this is grounds for a celebration on the island! Party Planning Committee ASSEMBLE! *raises sword like a Thundercat*

I need people like you to be sending the bags I buy online. My last two haven't been sent well. (normally they are sent decently well, but the last two were just literally put in a box. Who doesn't want to wrap it in something before putting it in the box?)

Omg, I broke down and bought another black bag. I blame this entirely on @houseof999 because she mentioned the black woven Grace was on sale on the Roots website (thank you, house! I love my new bag). :graucho: By the time I checked it out, the woven Grace was sold out  but another bag I have had my eye on was still on sale and available.

Here's small Gracie in box leather with raspberry lining! Oh, she is such a cutie!

Gracie is a smaller version of mine and @HesitantShopper 's black Grace which are Prince leather. I love the quilted leather, rolled handles, adjustable shoulder strap and brass hardware in a style I already know works for me. While she seems similar to my Sophie and Nolita Prairie Bud, I prefer the soft, wide shoulder strap which is easily adjustable to go from decorative to a functional shoulder or Crossbody strap. Sophia's shoulder strap is too short, and I find the Nolita is not a good shoulder bag as she's too wide at the base and sticks out on me.

Because the Gracie is soft and pliable, I think I have finally found a good travel handbag as I could pack it if needed, it fits in my Longchamp totes and it can easily go from day (shoulder) to night (handheld). She's "Made in Canada" so I know she's tough and can go the distance.
What a sweet bag, ml!!! Love the lining too. Congrats!
(You made me go look at the website, abd now there's a tote sitting in my cart... [emoji15] [emoji28] [emoji56] )

Right? Just have the courtesy to mKe sure items arrive in good condition by wrapping or cushioning and protecting it while it travels.

Congrats on your juicy sale :). That’s great. Time to celebrate with some Hotties. How cool to have a repeat customer (what are the chances of that happening?).

Oh that really sucks! I’m sorry that happened, it must be disappointing. I don’t know how someone could do that either! Don’t you feel weird just throwing it in there? Or haven’t you opened a package and then we’re shocked to see no padding and it was beat up and said “whoever packed this needs to be fired.” Come on people! [emoji849]

Whooohoooo! I dunno? I think it would be a little easier on say Mercari since you can follow sellers and I think you sometimes receive notifications when someone you follow posts new items. But this was eBay, I can’t remember if you can follow sellers ...

Now that I think about it, I’ve bought charms from the same person on eBay and I feel like I saw “someone you’ve purchased from” on the listing or maybe after I watched the item. Interesting!

That is how I feel too! lol. In fact I was returning a bag I filed a claim on in Poshmark, and I put tissue around it because I couldn't bear to just put it in the box like the seller did. I laughed at myself, but I couldn't help it.

Congratulations! I hope there are other Juicy buyers out there!

I've sold to a few repeat buyers on ebay. One sent me a card in the mail after the first sale. I think she thought I was magical because she loved the bag so much. I don't think she loved the second one as much. She never came back after that. Another one loved the first but returned the second. So I don't get excited when I get repeat business.

I just think some people have no clue. They don't think about how it is going to slide around in the box and might get wet. When I wrap, it is sometimes overkill. I think about all the things that could wrong and wrap accordingly. I stuff if necessary so it will keep its shape. I wrap in tissue and put in a plastic bag before putting it in the box. I fill the box with crumpled newspaper to protect it on all sides. For smaller items that I'm shipping in a padded envelope, I usually make a sleeve of cardboard for extra protection. Sometimes I use styrofoam from unused takeout containers. I'm sure some of my buyers think I'm obsessive.

Well that is certainly way better than plunking it in the box! Good for you. The thing I don't like about it is that not all boxes are necessarily clean--it just makes good sense to cover items you put in a box.
