I have been following this thread as I had planned to pick up my first 90 this week! I consider my style to be casual/eclectic and am loving the 90 that I picked out. I posted pics in this thread in case anyone wants to see what it can look like with a tank top http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes/the-fall-2014-scarves-861927-280.html#post27532923 I would throw a chunky sweater over this, with jeans & boots, and be good to go!

ETA My SA showed me this knot, I think I will get a lot of use out of it.

Thanks everyone! Here's one more pic same knot with a new to me sous Le cedre. A trick I've found is if you tuck the little triangle flap that results in the back into your shirt, it helps keep the scarf in place. Otherwise, the two little tails will want to slip down and hang in the front.

Rainneday - that's a beautiful scarf! That cw is right up my alley. Is your knot the cowboy with ends tied in the front? And congrats on your first 90!

Thank you! Yes, it is made into a triangle then the ends are wrapped around and tied in the front. I think how you are wearing your 90s looks great! The key, for me, is to not over-think it--for any clothing item. And with scarves that are silk, they are so fluid and will kind of fall how they want, then you can go from there. I did ask my SA for a tip on styling because I wanted to see what she could show me, she hasn't steered me wrong so far, and she helped me to tie it very quickly and casual. I redid it at home for these pictures. :smile1:

How do you wear it? Is it the knot where you tie the opposite corners of the rectangle?

Yes, that's the one Melora. Called something like an asymmetrical knot. Just leave one of the points down in front (simulates cowboy) and tuck the other point in your shirt. No scarf rings needed but they can be used too.

Although she hasn't updated her blog in quite awhile, you will see some superb casual looks with a 90 carre. I'm not sure who this lady is but I am in awe. There are quite a few posts. Make sure to click on "older posts" in the bottom right corner of the page when you get to the bottom of each page. She also has some work looks mixed in but there are lots and lots of casual outfits.
