Oh my! What a perfect way to show the scary skeletal man. I hadn't even considered doing it with a 70cm. Good idea!![]()

Oh, this is wonderful! I am loving this knot but didn't even think to try it on a 70. Off I go to play...Thank you, style eyes!OMGosh! I've been following this thread and was messing around with a few of the knots you ladies have shown. Well...I grabbed my C'est la Fete and tried MYH's fab cowl knot and look!! Now I can finally show off the the beautiful center of the scarf!!With this knot, I can show the horse or the rider! Thank you x 1000!
*sorry for the lame sweatshirt pic, I'm in my pj's and don't feel up to getting dressed:shame:
ETA: when tying it this way with the 70cm I had to practically strangle myself to tie the first knot, but then it easily loosens up to a very comfortable knot after you tug on the cowl a bit. It's not tight at all, once complete.![]()
So nice! I love this knot.I think we need some new inspiration for this thread so I will sleep on it and try to post something new soon. If any of you have a special casual knot to share please do! For now, I'm also wearing the tried and true ascot knot. I love all the colors in this coupons Indiens scarf!

I love this tie (I call it the bib) and use it constantly. But, MYH, I think there are definitely scarves that in themselves are more formal. For me, L'art d'écrire (mine is white and navy, already a formal color combo, IMO) and L'instruction du roi (all those scrolls and ironwork) cannot be worn as bibs.
I would love to see an action shot, tdgor. Maybe I'm being too stuffy about the bib not working with the formal designs. TIA!I've worn Ferronnerie as a bib for years.

I'll look through my photos to see if I have one of me "in the wild" and if not I'll stage one for you tomorrow.I would love to see an action shot, tdgor. Maybe I'm being too stuffy about the bib not working with the formal designs. TIA!
Gorgeous! I have this colorway on its way to me now!Hi y'all ! I posted this in SOTD but thought it would work here too. Wearing my 90's as necklaces with a scarf ring to weigh it down is a favorite casual way I also wear them. Sometimes I also put a slight twist in the necklace but this time I did not. Here is Turandot with a navy blue t-shirt.

How exciting Birdonce! Where did you find your blue beauty? I have a hard time hunting this design down. It either costs an arm or leg or is the cw I don't want. like many others, I would love an orange one.Gorgeous! I have this colorway on its way to me now!

Oh, looks nice. Thank you, tdgor. I'm not sure I can see the knot in the middle of the bottom pic. How do you do a knot in a bib?
