Scarves How to Wear a 90cm Carre/Silk Twill Casually?

Then I was so so inspired by BirkinMarys sideways cowboy knot with a necklace OVER her scarf. Its like a light bulb went off in my head! Why was I always wearing my necklace under my scarves??? Over looks much more casual and relaxed. A I just threw this necklace on vibe and I'm so cool I didn't even have to think about it! I don't have a beaded one like BirkinMarys with as much presence so my farandole will have to suffice. I love it!!! And a small tip for this one. After you fold in a triangle you need to fold down the long edge like 4 times in 2-3 inch strips otherwise your triangle will be too large. That's how I simulated BM's 70 with my 90 eLenK.
I'm also trying a new technique for smaller pics. Hope it works.

GORGEOUS!!! :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

OMGosh! I've been following this thread and was messing around with a few of the knots you ladies have shown. Well...I grabbed my C'est la Fete and tried MYH's fab cowl knot and look!! Now I can finally show off the the beautiful center of the scarf!!:woot: With this knot, I can show the horse or the rider! Thank you x 1000!:woohoo:

*sorry for the lame sweatshirt pic, I'm in my pj's and don't feel up to getting dressed:shame:

ETA: when tying it this way with the 70cm I had to practically strangle myself to tie the first knot, but then it easily loosens up to a very comfortable knot after you tug on the cowl a bit. It's not tight at all, once complete. :-)

Oh my! What a perfect way to show the scary skeletal man. I hadn't even considered doing it with a 70cm. Good idea! :tup:

I think we need some new inspiration for this thread so I will sleep on it and try to post something new soon. If any of you have a special casual knot to share please do! For now, I'm also wearing the tried and true ascot knot. I love all the colors in this coupons Indiens scarf!

Oh my, StyleEyes, this is gorgeous and shows the center of the scarf so well like MYH said. You also made me run for my C'est La Fete but wearing it Birkinmary style :-) I had my silver necklace aka ID lanyard over it when I got to work.

I FINALLY got a chance to try MYH's ascot cowl (thank you ELainePG for pointing me to it!). I don't know if I really got it right, but I like it and now I have 2 favorite ways to wear larger scarves!!!

Here it is quickly done with the BdG I was wearing today. I need to sit down and work out possibilities for it for different areas of the scarf.
