Jumping back in to tell another birkin-shaping success story. I told my reveal story in another thread, so I will keep it brief. I got a “soft” offer for my HG two weeks ago and was forced to wait until the new semester before she could come home with me. My SA was kind enough to let me go see her and when she pulled my HG out of the box, my heart sank because she was SO slouchy. Long story short, the airbags had popped causing some serious saggieness. So, we decided to put some new ones in. This got her in shape enough that I felt comfortable buying her a week later. NOW, one week later after storing her properly (or what I consider to be my version of proper), she is perfect and it is amazing. I wanted to share so others know it can be done!!

Such a beautiful bag. That really is amazing. Do you store your bag upright or on her back?

Just received pillows from Baghunter for my Birkins, and I think they’re going to work beautifully. Thanks so much, TeeCee77 for pointing me in the right direction.

You are welcome. They are costly, but I really find that they work. Note, I don’t believe they are intended for storing the bag cinched closed - I just lay them in their backs with the shangles loose and handles/top of bag supported! Good luck!

Storage “action shot” - I suppose the air pillows, a rolled t-shirt or towel would all work equally well. They also each go in their dust bag. This works well for me as I only have 3 Birkins and it’s not overly burdensome to prep them each for storage. If you have a larger collection, this method may be way too burdensome.

Thank you @TeeCee77 for the description and the photo. I never thought of putting something between the handles either, what a brilliant idea! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! I believe I adopted the idea for supporting the handles from someone here [emoji173]️ It works really well for me. Prior to getting the BagHunter pillow inserts, I also had good luck with just the airbags, closing my bag like it came from the store, and resting her on her back. This does not work with the pillows I use as they are quite large. I think either method works, but I really have gotten to like this one. It allows the straps and leather to relax and given the visual results, especially with Ms. malachite - why not! Ms. Malachite is as straight as ever these days! IMG_2848.jpg

If not Mods please remove.
I wanted a natural breathable pillow for my Kelly (avoiding plastic and I’m fed up with so much tissue paper!) so this is made of unbleached cotton and filled with pure natural wool and what I’m using currently.

This is the most wonderful bag pillow I have ever seen! It is beautifully made and fits perfectly.
I am so happy that I bought it, I love it <3.
