This post is on why big eyelid creases on Asians are more likely to make their eyes look droopy and sleepy or even worse get asymmetric ptosis.

Here is a pic collage of my Western big eyelid creases created by my UK plastic surgeon in my late 30s/40s. As you can see my eyes look heavy, sleepy and unnatural. The bottom pic is this year at age 57 almost 8 years after Dr Seo gave me smaller eyelid creases at age 50. It opened up my eyes and made them look brighter, natural and more youthful! I have also attached the side profile photos taken the month of the op with Dr Seo before and after which demonstrates the dramatic improvement.

The moral of the story is go to Korea for beautiful natural big eyes with small creases if you are Asian. It is the small crease that gives you big eyes and the big crease that gives you smaller droopy eyes. Stop asking for bigger creases to open your eyes. It does the opposite in Asian eyes.

On a roll today. This is the end result of my body rejuvenation. My weight is 95 lbs on a whole plant food nondairy diet with salmon and avocado as my main sources of protein. I eat black grapes, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, make my own salad with romaine lettuce, pickled beetroot slices, plum tomatoes, avocado in olive oil, eat tomato basil soup, gluten free oatmeal cereal, sushi, miso soup, seafood spaghetti, snack on almonds, etc. Never hungry and only do housework as exercise.

As you can see breast fat transfer is in and fda black box warning carcinogenic alloplastic breast implants are out (all types including silicone). The latest recall is mentor saline ones!

I love how this bodycon dress looks like a Balmain but is actually a charity shop find for £6. I've gone from a plastic surgery addiction to shopping for bargains at my local charity shop.

Time machine. Here is a photo of me with the then Prime Minister David Cameron when we were both in our late 40s vs how he and I look like now at age 57. He is 6 months younger than I am! I have reversed my aging while he continued to age. It is often the case that women will seek rejuvenation procedures while men do not mind aging as there is less age bias with men than there is with women. So what does DC need to do to rejuvenate? Fat graft to the forehead, frontal hair transplant and a facelift?

Are there fillers that last for a long time? I feel like fat grafting doesn’t last forever either and I hear you have to keep going back for it, and I’m too skinny to get fat graft since there’s no where to get fat from my skinny body. I want width and cheeks back so I’m considering fillers but still not sure which ones are good

Hi @rosie8800, the longest lasting dermal filler is radiesse but even then it only lasts 6-9 months. It dissolves faster in hot weather. Fat graft does last but it needs weight gain, high fat and protein diet for 4 months postop and most do not do this but exercise, lose weight and forget to have a diet high in fat and protein. Then they wonder why they have lost fat graft in the face and breasts. Had I done it properly I would not have needed 5 full face fat grafts. Fortunately I seem to have retained some fat graft as I do not need any more fat grafts and do not have sunken temples, sunken brow, sunken malars or sunken nasolabials and of course I figured it out with my breast fat transfer so only needed one and no top ups. The catch is if you do not figure it out in time while you still have fat to harvest. I now have no more fat to harvest so thank goodness I figured it all out in time.

I've heard that radiesse and Sculptra etc don't ever dissolve permanently and plastic surgeons don't recommend using them?

Miss Orange, can I ask your thoughts on ponytail lifts or temporal brow lifts?
Hi @6098Sophia, all I know is Kao does ponytail lifts and charges a fortune. There is a negative review on realself with photos of Kao’s ponytail lift. She paid close to $50,000! Then she had to pay Jacono to fix what Kao had done to her face! https://www.realself.com/review/facelift-kao-endoscopic-ponytail-lift-cat-woman

I feel devastated for her. My motto is do NOT pay exorbitant sums > $30k for a facelift. Please explore cheaper board certified surgeons in the UK, Belgium, Turkey or Korea. And remember sagging may occur if you did not take postop steroids for a week to stop extensive swelling and skin stretch. If you can get a face and neck lift for $10k in Korea (11-12 million won) with Dr Lee at ASPS and you can source steroids, then fine. But do NOT attempt any facelift without a rx for prednisone or prednisolone. Turkey is the cheapest at £7k for endoscopic temporal lift, face and neck lift with hospital and hotel stay with Dr Mehmet Comert.

I can’t comment on temporal brow lifts as I have not had this procedure. I found my facelift lifted the temple area and outer brow/lateral eye corners as the incision started in my temples.

This poor woman. She spent so much money on this facelift then resurgery. It's a horrific experience. I hope she finds peace again.

Wow indeed, that's a big difference. And you got this done in the UK right? Who's your favorite Smas facelift surgeon in Korea? ASPS?
I’m interested in getting a Smas FL in Korea too. And it seems that ASPS and Bio are two of the top places. However I have some concerns about ASPS for their incision line along the ear which doesn’t seem to follow the tragus and also on the location where they insert that drains. I read this entire thread on a review of ASPS that Miss Orange recommended:

https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/52-years-old-for-face-lift.997746/page-8

And it seems their incision is in front of the ear which leaves a more visible scar and it also seems they placed the drains at the bottom of her cheeks, which seems very odd. You’re going to get two tiny scars there from that. I believe drains should be placed behind the ears. For these reasons, I’m a bit put off by ASPS though I will probably consult with them anyway.

Today's post is a reminder not to go to GNG or April31 for noses; they overcharge foreigners and the results are unfavourable to botched. Several years ago I posted about my experience consulting at GNG and trying to help a lady from Vietnam who hated her big bulbous nose they gave her when she wanted a feminine nose in my thread to warn readers and am sad to have received a message today from a lady who had primary rhino at GNG in 2019. She ended up with a short bulbous nose with a silicone implant! It is 2024! I have given her the name of the top revision rhino specialist in Turkey Assoc Prof Dr Huseyin Balikci. He did a great job on a Chinese friend of mine who is on IG who flew all the way from Hong Kong to Turkey for her revision rhino (see last pic).

Hi @mingaling99 no I got my smas facelift done in the UK in Jan 2022. I travel the world looking for the best in the world for bargain prices. At the time my facelift surgeon Nick Rhodes of Coppergate Clinic York, UK charged £3495 for his vertical vector VR facelift but now he charges £15995 for deep plane FL/NL so I can't afford him for neck lift in future. At the time he was cheaper than the 9-12 million won quotes I got from Namu, View and Girin after face to face negotiation in Jan 2020.

In Korea I would recommend the chief surgeon Dr Lee at ASPS clinic near Apgujeong subway station, because they are still reasonably priced and specialise in smas facelifts, their bread.and butter and did a FL for a famous tpf blogger. I would not recommend Bio as there was laxity with visible nasolabial lines at 1Y in a patient video I wrote about earlier in this thread, he drives a Rolls Royce on his insta and he now charges > $30k. Laxity suggests Bio and VLif do NOT give their patients postop steroids to prevent Montezuma's revenge facial swelling.
