Funny how this thread is being discussed today, as I was just talking about this very topic with my friend who returned from Florida.
She was in Florida, shopping with a friend from New York. Even though the VIP customer was from New York, the Florida SA's all knew her by name. The New Yorker bought 2 purses and got 10% off each one.
Isn't it ironic that the ones who spend the most are most likely the ones who don't need the discount?
