Costs more in Asia?? No I think you're wrong. The price is the same, the only difference is tax and the currency exchange, which makes it more expensive.
Ah so it's different from LV huh? LV doesn't need us to spend A LOT in order to become LV Vip's member.

I believe that the prices are a bit different, when I was hunting for the pink classic flap awhile back, I called couple asia stores, and without tax, with currency conversion, the prices are more expensive than the U.S. price without tax. The pink lambskin flap price has less difference than the pink caviar flap for unknown reasons:confused1:

just my 2 cents..

In HK you've to spend HK$350,000 a year to maintain your VIP account (never heard about the VIP card thing though). Before last year the minimum spent was HK$250,000.

Honestly, I have never heard of the VIP card thing with Chanel!
Anyway, when I shop, I make sure now whatever I buy, I will max out and use - no longer wasteful anymore.*LOL* Don't think I will ever spend the min required, there's not enough Chanel range over here anyway!
