How often do you rotate your bags?

I find I've been rotating my bags more since I downloaded the closet organiser app that someone here suggested.

I can see which bags I've used lately, how many days I used a particular bag and cost per wear haha it's pretty cool.

Is this app on the iPhone or iPad?

I downloaded the iPhone version, there might be an iPad version too.

It's called Stylebook. It can be used for clothes and shoes too but I mainly use it to keep track of my bags.

I can't remember who suggested it to me..it was definitely someone from this forum

Since I have way too many bags (a lot of them acquired since joining tpf last year), I really try to rotate my bags, if not daily then every other day. Sometimes there's a bag I want to use in particular so that one gets carried straight for a few days. Some days the weather wouldn't allow me to use a bag I want. But generally, though I find it a bit tiresome at times, I aim to change bags daily just so I won't feel the guilt of having acquired some bags that I don't use. Just too many bags!! :smile1:

Wow that's an excellent idea! Is it user friendly?

This will be so helpful can't wait to download it when I get back home! I always forget what I have... Especially jewelry and clothes! Thanks Lurve!

It is! It could use a few tweaks here and there but overall it's a good app.

I got the hang of it after about an hour or so! So yeah I'd say it's user friendly 😊

No probs 😊

It is useful. Just tedious in the beginning when you start your 'closet collection'

I had to take pictures of all my bags and shoes. I've recently started on my jewellery and dresses. Long process but worth it once done.

I've stopped myself from buying similar looking items thanks to this app. Nowadays I don't buy anything without looking through my online closet first to check if I've got something similar already...

Downside to this app is it's not for free (I can't remember how much I paid) ... Oh and you can't back it up to iTunes. So if I change phones I'll need to manually transfer all the data over, suxs.

The developer said it can be backed up via iCloud but to do that I need to buy extra iCloud storage. Can't win with this back up situation lol

Hope my feedback has helped you.

If there's anyone out there with a better (free) app that does the same thing, please chime in 😊

Lurvebags,

It's definitely worth the investment! But, It can't be backed up?And yikes! I am abt to change phones. Lemme see if it can be "tweaked" to be backed up. I definitely need something like this, Cuz my husband says I keep buying the same things over and over again... I definitely need to catalogue my closet.

I know! Ability to back up apps is very important to me too, I figured it was a 'given' these days. I guess not..

Please let me know if you find a way to get around this or find an alternative app 😊

Your DH sounds like mine 😊 maybe they compare notes haha

The number of times I've said to my DH 'ooooh I need a -------- (insert color) bag/shoes/dress' only to find I have it already in my closet...first world problems haha

I'm looking to get the new iPhone when it is released so stressing out about the back up 😔
