How Many Coats Do You Own?

Hi my name is Pellarin22 and I'm a coat addict! I must have atleast 20 or more coats. I hate winter but last year I bought 4 winter coats!

This year, 3 fall coats...I can't help myself! I try to wear all of them but sometimes I forget about some of them. I really only have 3 expensive ones but all the others are usually under $175 each so I classify them as part of my outfit for the day like a sweater...yes I am an addict!

Such a coincidence, only this morning I was feeling guilty about having too many outerwears - coats, jackets, macs etc. I don't feel so guilty now about wanting to get a parka :giggles: Any suggestions, dear enablers?

Really it seems I should go to Coat Owners Anon, you are all so well organised.

I think coats are my armour, if I have a nice coat and bag I feel as though I can do battle in the city. Armour on my back and shield in my hand, invincible in the face of a missed bus, shutting bank and fighting to the death for that last Hermes scarf in that cw

One of the reasons why I carry top-handles is so I wont ruin my coats/jackets.

gosh after reading how many everyone else here has I need to start shopping lol. I only have one cotton/light spring time coat and one heavy winter one. tho I do live in Australia so it doesn't get that cold lol.

I like to have a brown jacket/coat for warm undertone colors and black/darker color for cooler undertone colors. I also make sure I have short/long, casual/dressy, and hood/no hood lmao works for me

2. Primark red coat (2010) - picked it up for like 20 bucks
3. Laura Ashley black satin coat with beaded label detail - its very dressy and great for stuff like black tie
4. Joseph cream silk trench coat
5. Oasis black denim trench coat with 3/4 sleeves - has a very vintage feel and I bought it for only a tenner back in '08

something like 6-7 puffer coats for winter
maybe 5 knee length coats
3 short fur jackets (ok they belong to my mom, but I stole them lol)
2 fur vests ( dunno if this counts as jackets, but I do wear them out like one)
2 Burberry jackets
3 leather jackets
1 Rick Owens leather jacket (will be adding another soon...)
bunch of suit jackets/blazers... I can't even begin to count how many...
2 packable rain coats
and I gave a lot of jackets away... either to my mom or my cousin
