2 light puffer jackets, short and long (Burberry)
2 wool/heavy coats (Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger)
1 parka (Barbour)
1 coated cotton rain coat (J Crew)

I have about 4 not counting the jackets

1 Burberry coat in Camel
1 Theory in Black
1 Banana Re. in Cobalt
1 Puffer coat for running here and there

Not sure if I need anything else :D, and this is CT. it does get friggin cold sometimes

1x Mountain Hardware for the showers in summer/going to gigs/F1 races

Am just about to sell a Canada Goose and invest that money in another Canada Goose so i can have the 3 models i want. However, i can see a Nobis vest coming in soon as well, if i can find the model i want.

- Canada Goose Mystique
- The North Face Arctic parka
- a long Moncler parka
- a lighter Canada goose parka
- Burberry Trench
- Moncler flower jacket
- Lululemon jacket
- red j. Crew wool coat
- blue j. Crew wool coat
- Green j. Crew wool coat
- an old Martin & Osa windbreaker
- Lululemon rain coat
- Burgundy Burberry quilted jacket
- Ann Taylor trench coat

I think that's all.

Bumping this old thread as I finally replaced one of my old duffle coats with a down coat. I still have the same amount:
1 cashmere coat
1 wool coat
1 down coat
1 raincoat (finally bought one this year)

And I think it's time to bid adieu to my trench coat that I haven't been wearing for the past 2 years or so.

About 25. But I am constantly rehoming (mom, aunts, cousins, moms assistant, cleaning woman, etc). some seasons I buy coats, many seasons I skip. I do regret cutting down a vintage, perfect condition, dead stock vicuña. Tailor warned me not to do so, and I ended up giving it to my mom.

categories are:
puffer ( nylon, leather, wool)
vintage (Norman Norell, Donald brooks, Adele Simpson)
designer RTW (mainly cashmere, also boucle)
shearling
fur
leather (some trench)
specialty fabric ( vicuña, camel hair, alpaca mohair)
trench (brocade, twill, denim, treated silk, standard trench)
hooded

not including
jackets : moto, bomber, pseudo hunting, ski, pea coats (a whole other category)
dusters (evening, springtime)

Nothing top designer- just cozy.
3 trenches (Tahari/Gap/London Fog)
1 down puffer (Susan Graver)
2 leather moto jacket & blazer (Wilson's Leather Factory)
1 peacoat (Worthington)
1 shearling teddy (JCrew)
1 rabbit bomber (Houston furrier)

Hoping to gift myself a Mackage.♡

MANY and I love and wear them all  I love having rotation, a lovely unique coat makes me look forward to cold weather. This thread is unfortunately giving me ideas for my wishlist  I seem to have amassed mostly wool and furs, constantly on the look-out for that perfect winter "blanket" coat that makes me feel chic and snuggly.

Wishlist:
1 the perfect functional formal hooded rain coat (harder than it seems)
The perfect real shearling jacket

My Coat Game is pretty strong -when I moved to a colder climate about 12 years ago I didn’t even have a proper coat -
I’ve organized them and bought garment racks during the darkest pandemic days - will take photos to share -
Agree with those who said you can have almost anything on under a good coat and you’ll still look put together -

I love coats/jackets of many styles and buy more each year. For years I resisted Canada Goose but gave in and recently got a parka in navy. It's OK. I like the fabric as a change from my glossy Moncler coats, which I still love. I have black wool coats of different lengths and weights, a few peacoats, trenches, other parkas, furs, shearlings. Jackets are another story.
