Cash (from bday presents, valentines day, sweetest day, christmas, etc) Rarely use credit cards unless it's an interest free rate going on. Also, you can find some great, gently loved one's on bag, borrow or steal. My hubby is great about me buying myself nice things, including $1000+purses! :yahoo::woohoo:As he tells me you only live once and this is not dress rehearsal, so you will not be coming back to do it (life) again so enjoy it to the fullest..:D

Im 21 have recently graduated from university and i fund all my own purchases. i am currently unepmloyed but i have worked in a dress agency (consignment store) and am still great friends with my boss so when a fab bag comes in a get first dibs. I also buy most bags second hand so i pay a snippet of the retail price for me bags. i dont have credit cards or store cards so all bags are payed cash or on debit cards.

Trust me, your buying habits will change to buying those cute, little baby and kids' outfits. And if you're having a girl, look out!
I don't have any kids, but I've been buying clothes for my 2 nieces ever since they've been born. The fashionable clothes, the shoes, the handbags, AND THEY'RE STILL IN GRADE SCHOOL!
I've had so much fun!!!

That's funny, a friend said the exact same thing to me a few days ago! She now enjoys shopping for her baby daughter more than herself hehe :)

i usually bought my bags by cash which i had save before, rarely to use credit card unless they have offering for 0% payment for 6 months hohoho... and also my DH bought me some of my bags too...

my parents pay for my handbags and other things. well, mostly my mom, she's really in charge of spending money for things like that in my house. and sometimes i buy a few things with my own money, which is technically theirs since they gave it to me. but, i have yet to put handbag charges on my credit card.

I am older (50) and have had some investments come due and could easily afford a Birkin, but would rather spend the money on travel. I just want a practical handbag, but frankly the cheap stuff doesn't hold up. I just love Balenciaga because it's timeless and will wear forever with the proper treatment and is light in the chèvre so it doesn't hurt my shoulder when I carry it. I've carried two firsts for three years in rotation with several cheaper Coach and Treesje bags and I keep going back to the Bal bags.

Try looking into givenchy. Lots of bal and lv ladies liking and buying b/c if the quality, beautiful leather and under the radar factor

I am 16, my mum won't let me get a job because she wants me to focus on school (I have less than a year left :D ) and she pays for my clothes. I do get a monthly allowance for other things but she says that if I want designer things I have to buy them myself because thats what she had to do… I buy probably 1-2 designer bags a year but most of the time I just "borrow" hers because she has more than she can keep track of
