Honesty please...is the J12 past its prime?

I can appreciate it on others even though it’s not my style, however I do think you should let it go because there’s so many other watches that can be more suited for your wrist eg cartier, Rolex, omega etc. A timepiece may be “classic” but doesn’t mean it will suit everyone. Given that you’ve own it for a decade and no longer find it exciting why not let it go to someone who will and you can use the funds for something else?

I also think the white makes it look bigger and pop too much whereas the black/stainless steel pieces can work on small wrists (as shown above)

I have the 38 mm with diamond markers. I really like oversized watches. It is my absolute favorite watch to wear. The ceramic has never chipped and has held up very well over 11 years of use. The white pops very well, and I get complimented on it often. I personally think it's a classic. Can't imagine ever selling mine.

I think white is not as trendy anymore. Black is ok. But for you, how about a true classic like a Rolex. I wear a 40mm Daytona and have small wrists and I think it looks great. I like large watches on small wrists, makes a great statement.

To me, the issue with your watch is that it is white. Just my two cents. Hope that helps.

I'm still pining for a white one. Every time I see someone wearing theirs IRL I covet!
Anyone have one a long time and still love it/hate it?
Anything else I should be considering?

I love my Rolex, but I'd like another watch for variety. I tried black and white on maybe 10 years ago totally assuming I'd prefer black and I preferred white on me!
Seeing it on a friend recently made me remember how much I like them!

I have the black with diamond markers in 38mm and LOVE it!!! It's on the large side for me and it took some getting used to, but I love the fact that I never need a new battery. I've always pined away at the thought of having a J12 in white as well, but the white band doesn't look that great with my coloring for whatever reason... I do believe the J12s are still fashionable and Chanel continues to produce models each year. What size are you interested in?
