Honesty please...is the J12 past its prime?

I've been wearing my white 38 mm J12 with diamond markers for about 12 years now. Absolutely love it. I love the pop of white against my skin. Would love to get a Audemars or Patek Philippe at one point, but the J12 has my heart for now. I had a Rolex at one point, but I ended up selling it because I always chose the J12 over it. The only other watch I wear is my Apple Watch (to work and to the gym for practical reasons).

I'm still pining for a white one. Every time I see someone wearing theirs IRL I covet!
Anyone have one a long time and still love it/hate it?
Anything else I should be considering?
I wanted something to switch up the Rolex with.....couldn't decide between 33 white or black with diamond markers. Bought the black from saks when they still offered triple pts and mpa. Couldn't get white out of my mind and ended up getting a preowned one in excellent condition from TRR for a little over half of the cost. I love the white and reach for it more than black.

I have wanted the black 38mm one with diamond markers for a while now. I just bought a Coach black ceramic watch with a similar look to see how much use I get out of it...I'm loving it so far so I have a feeling I will get the J12 next year sometime.

I finally bought the white with diamond markers in the 38 last summer in Paris. I have a Rolex, actually 2, but that ceramic is just so crisp and different. It is a stunning watch. Maybe in 1-2 years I get the black too. I should have gotten one years ago. I say get one ASAP.

I've got a Black one from years back, and now my SA is trying to convince me to get the latest upgrade in White!
I mean, is there a huge difference in mechanisms?
They simply look the same. dont they?
Infact, the white ceramic bracelet feels much lighter compared to my older Black.
To a point, im thinking if Chanel is cutting cost on the watch. BUT, it's priced still the same. Hmmm.

Hi Swanky! Hope you are well! I still really love my J12 too. Wore her just yesterday and received several stares and compliments. I purchased it from NM in 2008 during one of the infamous (and beloved) Incircle events. I was so lucky to have received a $1000 GC and double points when I got her. Those were the days, weren't they?!! Mine is a 33mm black with diamond markers. Go for it, friend. Life is short! :flowers:

I was also pining for a ceramic in black and white as well but ended up getting them both in dior instead (VIII and grand bal). I love the J12, but to me the dior style has a little more femininity because of the pyramid shaped ceramics.

Swanky I also think as long as big/chunky watches are still in style, or as long as petite watches are not, the J12 will still hold it's own (fashionwise).
