The original color of the Musique des Dieux was an unwearable mustard yellow, but after a pink dip dye it turned into an amazing scarf that is more my colors.

BTW the scarves arrived very stiff with dye, I had to rewash them to soften them up and re-stretch the puckered hems. Did anyone else have the same problem?

Prinipessa, the transformation of your Musique scarf is spectacular! Unable to answer you question, as I didn't attend, but hopefully others will chime in. Wondering, when you hand washed your post dipped scarf was there much dye run or color bleeding?

View attachment 3740525 Thank you guys sooo much for all your help and for encouraging me to go! So here is what I did. The original is the bottom and this is the transformation. The colorist suggested pink but I went with blue. I think pink would have been great but I LOVE the more casual denim blue. I wish I had gone back to do the others but the SA at Hermes Madison (who still remembered me even though I haven't been in in over two years! These ladies are amazing).

Edit my hand is there to try to get the cell phone to show the collect color!

I love this transformation!

Thank you, of the 5 scarves I had dip dyed this one is my favorite. I didn't even realize there was a hidden silver nymph is the center till the scarf was dyed and the nymph could be seen.

There was some color in the water, but not as much as I expected. I washed and rinsed several times and the scarves did soften up.

How fun regarding the silver nymph appearing, I didn't notice until you mentioned it! Love that pattern, it's one of my favorites. Regarding washing, I routinely wash all my scarves, but haven't had the courage to do so with dip dyes fearing color run. So glad to hear the washing was easy and successful!

Yes! You are brave. I always thought dip dyes couldn't be hand washed. Mine is stiff and I thought the hems were ruined from having gone through the drier at the event. Thanks for this info!
