Wow! These are wonderful. I've never seen the reindeer scarf...do you know the name?

Thanks, JRTgal!

I believe it is Fleurs d' Hiver from 2007! They had so many really old prints in various color shades of dip dyes....so....they really went to the vault to create new/old scarves for this event IThe colors on this one are hard to capture but it is a rich navy and bright turquoise with the silver snow and snowflakes!

Count me in on the love for your Mosaique. I think it's fabulous! And was your Jeux pouchette dyed violet? It's quite subtle. What fun! Can't wait for mine to arrive.....

Thanks! The Jeux was dyed blue which transformed it into a dusty teal color.

Went yesterday...had a little too much fun!! I picked up 2 of the 3 scarves from Friday but one I did not like the outcome so left it be double dyed. One of the SAs had a maxi twilly that was double dyed and it was amazing. So, I will pick it up this week and see how it came it...first dyed pink and then blue...hmmmm.

A couple of the SAs I know from Madison were there and I had a lot of fun digging through the bins with them looking for old beauties that had been transformed. I took home 3! I couldn't resist the colors and knew that they were each one of a kind that I would not be able to track down if I regretted not buying them. First is "Mineraux". The scarf is mostly black with a bright turquoise border and turquoise, gray and olive minerals. I really simple, wearable, casual scarf! Perfect with jeans. The next is the purple butterflies (not sure of the official name), the colors in this one are amazing! And, finally, a turquoise reindeer scarf...it is navy and bright turquoise and similar to @BBCs Della, the snowflakes are silver. I can't capture the color of the turquoise but this scarf is much prettier IRL!!

I will post me and my sister's transformations once I have picked them all up!

Ahh! Lovely finds! I saw that reindeer scarf but hesitated; glad it went to a good home

i visited the popup on wednesday, and it was quite overwhelming for me since i couldn't envision what the end product would look like, and i prefer cool tones and felt limited. i was looking at buying a tyger tyger to dye but couldn't bring myself to do that to such a pretty scarf! the event makes total sense if you have older scarves that aren't being worn and need some revamping.

when i initially walked in and began looking at scarves, 2 staff members said they usually don't ship but would for me. however, then when i worked with another staff member, he said they aren't shipping at all because there's no shipping department. i didn't fight it because at that point i was leaning closer to not buying anything that day. i'll revisit the event in DC, and maybe i'll work up the courage to dip dye my 1 H scarf that isn't getting much use anyway.

By far my favorite results were with the purple dye! I wish I got everything dyed with this color -
Love how the teal in the losange became navy and the bandana is very vibrant

Not too thrilled with this one but it was a fun process!

OMG, love all of these! Quite a transformation...the bandana is sublime. I LOVE the last one but I am sorry that you weren't thrilled!!! Thanks for sharing. I didn't take before pictures and now wish I had. I will google images maybe!

I live too far away to go in person, but my son was willing to stop by the NYC pop-up to get me a pre dyed scarf. I gave only very general color and pattern suggestions and carefully instructed him to ask for help from an SA since this son is color-blind. I said surprise me. He told me he got a Della Cavalleria with pinks/purples in it. I am beyond excited and can't wait to see it when he brings it to me next month. I'll be curious to see if it is really pinks/purples or not, but it doesn't matter because I'm sure I'll love wearing it!

That must have been a fun experience for him! From what I saw there were lots of inexperienced walk-in customers. The staff were all really nice.
