If I’m curious about content I’ll skim the transcript rather than play the video. Since I’m a speed reader I can usually get through a thirty minute video in a few minutes. Thank goodness for this YouTube feature.

Edited to add: I found GPS because I was looking for a review on some St Louis crystal and Hermes cutlery I was interested in. It’s hard to find anything on YT other than QB, popular mini bag and Avalon blanket content for H.

I'm with you on the no YT bag reviews, but for Chanel, since I'm more familiar w/ their bags. I think because you are a more seasoned H client you probably don't gain much on reviews of "entry" level H bags common on YouTube.

I did notice that most English speaker YouTubers tend to only review bags, but many Chinese YouTubers will also review their non-bag purchases, i.e. St. Louis crystal (thinking specifically of the limited edition light), blankets, fine/fashion jewelry, porcelains, etc.

It’s really low when YouTubers show such disregard for their audiences. Asking about prespend is such a typical question where there are whole threads dedicated to this topic. Calling your audience trolls for a genuine question as opposed to simply stating you don’t want to share would have been better and classier. The reactionary response reveals she’s embarrassed about her journey.

OT question but I've got to ask, how do I activate the YT transcript feature? This would be life changing for me as I get bored easily. Thanks.

If you click on the 3 dots right below the video, there's a 'Show Transcript' option. Click on that and you'll see the transcript pop up on the right side next to the video, you can even click on the timestamps to take you to that specific part of the video.
