oh wow! I’ve only see the steel and titanium not blue and certainly not the diamond version!!!
So far not many SAs know about it so internal comms must be low.

I expect this to be limited production as most H things but maybe not (fingers crossed). Not a very technical watch person so I don’t know if the real aficionados will rate this. But I love it!

It’s an interesting in-house movement for world time with the the satellite disc. However …Hermes is relatively young in the haute horlogerie side. Advantage is that the current Hermes Arceau floating dial series is cheaper than the established Swiss watchmaking houses. Resale value goes up for their limited editions only but rarely more than the percentage on an ordinary Rolex Daytona.

The Arceau Le temps voyageur up against the complications within the haute horlogerie world, it pales in comparison for those with very deep pockets. Certain duo face JLC reversos can tell two times with a flip of the watch. Eye catching wise - Can’t compete against JLC flying tourbillon of a world timer and JLC is the watchmaker of watchmakers which can easily remake parts for its vintage watches because of their archives, ensuring an heirloom.

(Like I once told a Hermes SA who was trying to introduce their watches persistently a long time ago: Hermes is known for its leather work, not watchmaking skills. Others may like the designs - that’s their thing but I am more obsessed with certain complications).

My DH is a watch lover and he mainly likes JLC.
He tels me endlessly about their virtues but I just love my Hermes Cape Cod!

I only bought a regular Cape Cod because I love the design, especially with the double tour strap. Also, as others have said, the movement being quartz it keeps time much better than any Rolex. I also have a Rolex and 2 Jeager Le Coultre. But I don't like watches with diamonds in general so I'm not really answering your question:P

My hubby and I love watches. I like the look of the H08 but unfortunately it’s too big for my wrists. Hubby was hesitant to get one since he has too many sports watch already. But with the release of this US exclusive piece for the opening of the New Madison Avenue Hermes boutique, he decided to get it. Even though I can’t wear it, I still love how cheerful it looks when he wears it.
I guess it can be said I selectively buy pieces of Hermes watches because I like them.

Dear all,

I recently acquired a second hand Hermes Kelly 2 watch, but I need to put in a new battery. I have the tools to open the watch, so I'm not going to bring it to my local Hermes boutique, when literally 2 dollars will suffice to order a new battery on Amazon. So my question is, what battery does the watch usually come with? This one has no battery so I'm not sure how to determine the size.

TIA!

I’m usually a Cape Cod / Cartier Tank girl so most definitely not into watches. However this watch was love at first sight Irresistible once it was on my wrist! SA told me 1 year wait but I just collected it yesterday!

Dumb question -- I have a number of leather and croc bands, does this band fit on other watches?

Are you referring to the Cape Cod watch? If you are talking about the Cape Cod, then yes. I have SO Cape Cod (black dial) with a croc strap and 2 other leather straps. I just got the steel "strap" Cape Cod (w/ white dial) and can mix and match all of the straps with the two different dials.
