After prior empty hand shopping experience in Osaka, we found our luck today in Tokyo. We arrived in Tokyo before noon, checked in our hotel then we went to Ginza straight, because we have a lunch reservation at Chanel Beige restaurant. When my DH and I arrived Ginza, we found we still have some time to look around before we go for our lunch, so of course we went to Ginza store. The store is big and beautiful, we went to 4th floor and asked for small bags, got no answer. Then we walked around each floor because we found things we never see in US stores, especially the home department. We also stopped at the Hermes cafe for the famous Kelly chocolate. After our late lunch we walked around Ginza then decided to go to Takashimaya store. We also expect no answers, but we still just want to see different stores oversea. The store is really small but full of display. Two Kelly wallets, one Kelly croc wallet one Constance croc wallet displayed. Also two Lindy 26 one yellow picotin (lovely lovely) and one her bag 31 displayed. We asked for if any other small bags. SA went to check and come back said sorry no small bags today, but one birkin 30... Oh my god... What??... It s a red Gerium birkin with GHW. Breathtaking.... We took it of course as a walk in without any prior purchase. So lucky....

Just want to share, I have also hit a B for my wife at the Ginza store earlier in April this year during the sakura season... my scenario was similar to the above.. I went to the Ginza store at approximately 6 - 7pm. A friend requested for a couple of SLG but they did not had the colors. I then asked the SA if they have any B/K, she told me they just took delivery of 2 pieces, a B25 argile swift PHW and B30 capucine togo phw... the B25 was being viewed by another lady (seems like B25 is popular in Japan even though its in swift) and the SA showed me the B30... we paid in 5 mins... It seems like the delivery to H stores are nearer to closing time in anticipation for the early morning que!

however the price is much more expensive than getting in Europe, but quite close to my hometown H price... 1,260,000 yen without tax!

Thanks so much for sharing! Good to know that it may be useful to go closer to closing time!

Oh my a B30 is indeed way more than Europe [emoji30][emoji30] I guess I'll wait patiently until my local boutique finds me THE bag.

Hi, just want to share my 2 cents worth. Last year when I was in Tokyo, I arrived at Ginza about 6pm, wanted to have dinner there but seeing that Hermes Ginza was open, I decided to pop in to take a look. Walked around the store for a bit but nothing caught my fancy. Was exiting the lift on the 1st floor when I saw the delivery man enter the store with 4 big boxes! Was so excited to see that but I was really hungry so I thought I'll come back early the next day morning. But my DH approached an SA on the 1st floor to ask about the delivery, straightaway she replied those are a delivery of empty boxes! She must think that we are stupid! I guess it all ultimately depends on one's luck! :smile1:

OMG that's HILARIOUS!! Delivery of empty boxes. Haven't heard that 1 before LMAO[emoji23][emoji23]
Well I'm not gonna buy bags in Tokyo but hopefully they will have Pink or bright colored SLGs or bracelets. Those shades are kinda hard to get here in Europe atm. Thank u for sharing!!

No problem! Enjoy your trip! You will love Japan! :smile1:

Japan stores have a lot pink red bright color SLG. No bag charms at all. Many bright color bags are displayed. Takashimaya Shinjuku had two mini Evi displayed one blue one red. We are so happy to find a B30 in Japan.

YES lucky youuuuu!!! Enjoy it max :) :)
I'm happy just to see some colors IRL, even I'm not buying them :) bag charms are indeed hard to get in Japan. I'm sooo sad I missed out on the Tori gate charm when they had Petit H pop up store in Tokyo :( :( can't get myself to buy it at resellers price of €500. INSAAANE:( :(
