I forgot the price in Japan for mini Evi, but in the store I converted to USD, it is a little less than US after tax price. Except Birkin in Japan is so expensive, more expensive than US after tax price. But we cannot complain the price as we got the offer as walk in.

Congrats! Did you buy other items before you asked for the Birkin? Thanks!!

Hi H fairies, I am going to Tokyo on the 29th and I am hoping to score a Noir/Plomb Kelly 28 [emoji85] is this even possible??? What are your thoughts? Tips? [emoji17]

Kelly is very rare in Japan. During my 4 days there in April none of the stores told me they had any Kelly or even had seen any for the past few weeks.

However I've seen people on this forum get Kelly in Japan. Just try your H luck!

Agree with Thaenchanting that it's really hard to find a Kelly in Japan these days. My regular SA there says the demand from locals for small size kellys is a lot higher than for birkins...so you might actually have more luck scoring a birkin.. (actually, my SA there offered me several birkins before offering me a small kelly...)
Overall, the Ginza store is the most 'fair' in that people can just line up and the first few people in the queue would get whatever is in stock in the backroom that day. All other stores in Tokyo are getting more similar to other stores around the world, where it's more based on luck or relationships. If you are more open to a larger size kelly such as 32 or 35, it might be a bit easier

Been to the Ginza store yesterday, May 26! No B/K but I finally got the chance to try on the Jypsiere 28!

And I have to admit I like this bag more than I thought I would! Initially went there to try on the Bolide 27, but they only had the Bolide Secret :( as the Bolide is quite popular in Japan Bolide stock is low.

Anyways the shop was extremely quite. Arrived arnd 11.15am and expected the store would be filled with tourists. But there were hardly anybody there!

The SA was really helpful and very accommodating.

Stock for the Jypsiere 28 was:
Malachite
Turquoise
Black
Prunoir
Price before Tax:
JPY 917000/USD8400/€7500

So the stock was quite good actually! Since its cheaper to get it in EU I decided not to take any. But very happy I got to play around with a Jypsiere 28. And it's definitely on my wish list now :)

Wow! that is a lot of stock!! I am surprised because I thought small bags are harder to get in Japan (as they like smaller bags).

I think now that it's so much cheaper to buy in Europe, everyone is buying in Europe.

But honestly, the price is about the same as USA so for those from the states, getting it in Japan is still good.
