Wow! that is a lot of stock!! I am surprised because I thought small bags are harder to get in Japan (as they like smaller bags).

I think now that it's so much cheaper to buy in Europe, everyone is buying in Europe.

But honestly, the price is about the same as USA so for those from the states, getting it in Japan is still good.

I was really surprised that they had so many of the J28! She really wanted to sell me 1 as she kept looking in the system for all the colors. But yeah as I live in EU it won't make sense for me to get 1 in Japan. Prinoir is soooo beautiful IRL.

I was in the Ginza store the first week in June. The prices were at least %20 higher then in the US. Ties were up %30 even at the airport duty-free location.

With the sudden appreciation of the yen. I wonder if this will affect the stocks of bags at H Japan. Remember, they have increased their prices dramatically because the yen was at 110-115 to the $ level.

Know that the yen is at the 99-100 level, it would make the bags extremely expensive compared to the rest of the world

I think if you want the bag,and the store will let you have it,bara plane ticket, its no more expensive than a usa reseller, and id still have customs to pay,so worth it.Its such s shame, that some stores play god,as most people who like hermes, like more than just their handbags, and will still shop there over time. Its hermes themselfs, that have driven up the resell market on b/k,.

Does the H store inside Seibu (and probably other department stores in Japan) give you the bigger Hermes boutique receipt? I bought a wallet from Seibu and only got a small Seibu receipt. Thanks in advance!

Most department store Hermes branches will only give the Department Store receipt since they are using the cash registers of the department store

Did the store in Rippongi Hills at the Ritz Carlton close? I heard that the store was a treasure vault and is/was(?) by appointment only.. I would love to get a look inside that store..

Hello! I’m reviving this thread in case there are some updates with regards to vintage H shops in Tokyo? I’m planning a visit for this spring. Would love any and all info on vintage shops that you all would recommend! TIA!
