Hi, my name is Rosa and I'm a bag hag. I have discovered the beauty that is birkin when I was a teenager and thought to myself that I would never be able to afford bag. I'm still a student and hope to have a job that will allow me to buy myself a birkin. Last year, I was finally able to get my very own Chanel and that motivated me that I can get a birkin (saving of course and stop buying so much make-up.) :sweatdrop:

I have been wanting a birkin for years and it will take me that long just to acquire one, but it's worth it... a very nice investment. I've seen women carry birkins and I want to be one of those women.
I hope to obtain a birkin 30cm black togo with ruthenium or palladium HW.:love: I'm waiting for a birkin to fall from the sky... :nuts:

hello... i come from the LV subforum.. i'm itching for something new and exciting.. and most of all: LEATHER! i've been looking at the ulysses notebooks to start.. and perhaps some ties as well. i love their tie designs and fabrics.

i'm not really set my heart on anything, so thus haven't really saved for anything specific either.. but just thought i'd introduce myself.

oh.. i'm also wanting a belt.. a nice belt would be fab. oh and maybe some pretty twillies. haha.

Hi, Frozen - there's so many great little accessories
you can buy - belts, agendas, little animal coin purses, etc.
And you can't go wrong with a twilly (or two, or three)...;)

Also, (though I can't believe I am enabling this) BCBG has their own version of a silky pop...or had anyway, as I saw it in one of their outlet stores.:shame:

BCBG is a brand ... I'd say similar to Nanette Lepore maybe?

Thanks for the warm welcome! Would you ladies say it's easier to get a more unique color birkin or a neutral (like, the one I want: black togo!!).

LegalDiva is right, you find BCBG at department stores sometimes but they do have free standing boutiques, as well!

Frozen, dear, why didn't you snag anything during the meet? If I had known your tendencies I would have tried to be more of an enabler! :graucho: LOL Oh yes, and I think the Carmen key ring does come in Lagon (hopefully someone chimes in if I'm mistaken).

You might want to check that out.

Are you 100% set on black? - would you go for some
alt. neutrals such as gold or etoupe? :)

lol thanks for the welcome! i was set to not buy anything during the meet though because i had just recently bought a leather sofa.. lol. sofa vs leather accessories.. hmmm. lol.

The silky pop talks to me too. But I cant justify $1000 for what would amount to a lunch bag. But the concept is SOOO appealing. And I could not find any Silky pop knock-offs, conceptually or otherwise. I love the idea of a beautiful little silk bag that I can break out of my regular purse as needed.

But I just cant go there price wise. It probably has NO resale value. At least H scarves retain some inherent value.

ITA. I love the silkypop and really want it but I have remind myself it's $1,000 for a cloth bag! Which is nuts. AND I happen to already have one just like it that I got at a travel store, it's all nylon, very sturdy, no brand and it was like $25.

does anyone know if they have mens wallets.. i'm not seeing any on the hermes site and i haven't really seen them in stores (unless i was looking in the wrong places). i'd be more interested in a wallet than agendas..
