Is that winking because of me?

I want one too.. Am I crazy? I thought the SO black was sellier and not retourne?

I think if you really want it then you should go for a sellier, but what colour? I know they are hard to come by but patience is one of your virtues. Or else you wouldn't have been teaching for a living. :p

Winking is def for you, my porcelian-skined doll :p

The SO black Kellys are retounes, I asked specifically when I put my name down. I will look though, it may grab my heart yet.

I have ALWAYS wanted a 32 sellier and have turned down countless Kellys in the waiting. Almost any colour will do if it is box with ghw. I wish us one each my sweet.

Your right, I am patient teacher, but then I get paid by the hour :graucho:.

as for wool and hair - would that we should all have porcelain skin and an hour-glass figure ;)

I love the SO black and I will go to see it but I know me and would still want a sellier even after the SO black and that is plain daft really :noggin:

I want a sellier darn-it :pout::hysteric::pout:

If it isn't the right bag now, it will never be the right bag - and you will STILL be shopping. Have you looked at vintage? Articurial usually has one or two sellier - and I'm sure othe venues do as well.
Cost of replacing is much more than the cost of buying.

You are way too nice and should be talking about your skin. They are also in box. You need one of each..

We will get our sellier box with ghw and have tea together in Liberty. I want a 32 and you a 35. It will be perfect! :p

Let us save together. Our bans don't work, why is that? How can we do it?

I feel funny.. :oh: and not in a :lawl:-way, but I'm not sure I want a birkin or kelly anymore.
Omg, have I got an overdose of hermes :faint: spend too much time in here

Hello Everyone. My name is Karen and I too am trying to save for my first Hermes purchase: a Birkin, either in 35 or 40. Not sure on the color, but something versatile and with Palladium hardware. I'm still learning about Hermes (esp. the Birkin).

What's holding me back? Taking care of CC bills that have assisted my shopping habits + law school has placed me in significant debt. I should've just taken my first law school loan and purchased a Birkin :-)

In the meantime, I guess I'll live vicariously through those of you who have a Birkin and enjoy the "reveal" process as much as the actual possessor.

Cheers and here's to "one day" coming sooner rather than later!!

Hey Karen, I'm in law school too (only one more year, woot!). Tuition really puts a dent in the Hermes funds, eh? :p I just bought a Lindy, but I'm afraid it's going to be a long time before I feel comfortable spending any of my savings on a Birkin. I'm lucky enough to have a great job lined up for after graduation, but Hermes prices are still a little steep for me to indulge in while I'm paying off 60k in student loans.

Happy savings, everyone!

hi everyone,

i'm not yet an owner of hermes...but as soon as i return to germany i plan to take the plunge. My dream bag is a birkin, i'm sure some of you may remember the topic i started regarding this. I'm about 89% certain i want a 50 birkin (instead of a 40) for everyday use (i know, i know, it's heavy and huge...i have a keepall 60 for everyday use that i consider to be light). I hear it may be easier to get, then i've heard some say they are pretty rare...idk. I'm not really saving for it, mainly i'm just waiting to get back to Germany so I can get it...it'll be about a five weeks (crosses fingers) before i can get it. That is if after visiting a few times, spacing out some items i really really want (the Amico shoes, a scarf or two, the bearn wallet, a belt, maybe a ring or scarf tie, i even have been eyeing the elephant lock featured on the website) then hopefully I can get it. I have a total of 25k USD set aside for the bag (as idk how much it costs and i've heard that 10k USD may not be enough to buy it in europe, i figured i would be best to just take the whole amount i have set aside for my shopping trip and just use what is left over for other shopping).

I think i've read every topic about men and birkins, 50 birkins, and quite a few others. My preference is clemence or togo (the usual), but lately i've been drawn the uniqueness of fjord.

UGH!! i can't wait until i have the bag (or my other h items for that matter), it has been screaming my name as of late.

I thought I could resist simply because of the price, but no longer! I want to save up for a Kelly bag. I want to get rid of a portion of my debt first before starting to save, but I already know which one I want:

Black box calf
28 Sellier
Gold hardware

I'm still debating whether to seek one out second hand or to buy one new at my local boutique. Either way I'll have some saving to do! Seeing other people save and get their dream bags has convinced me that I can do the same. :)

Hi all, this is my first post in this forum so I am abit shy :blushing:

So last night, I had an epiphany and decided to start saving for my first birkin. Instead of buying and buying all these purses, I feel I should put my money down on the ultimate HG. A 30 etoupe birkin in Togo or Clemence, preferably in gh.

This decision was made partly also because I will be coming over to the US soon. I'm from Singapore and it's impossible to score one here. So I figured I should make full use of the 1 yr in the US to hunt for my HG.

The first step of the grand plan is to sell some of my purses to fund my HG. I figured if I manage to sell off what I intended to sell, I will be able to raise half the funds. The motto here is scale down, go for quality over quantity. Ok that's not to say my purses now aren't of good quality, but nothing beats a Hermes purse, so I've been told.

So good luck to all of you and myself and hope we get our wish soon!

Good luck, spendalot.....you'll get your dream B....as you may have read, H is a slippery slope--I used to buy only two carres and a few other accessories in one year and I was fine with that....but when you buy one bag, you usu. want another....an Etoupe B with GHW in Togo was my second H bag.....my first was a black in Clemence with PHW....thought that might be it for me but now I am looking for a brighter color....so it is a slippery slope, but it's a lovely and quality slippery slope....
