Right now I am thinking that a shoulder kelly might be the "it" bag for me. I plan to work "up" to the shoulder bag. This way there might not be such a sticker shock. This year I want to get a picotin and a GP. Hmmm, think I will wander into backyard and look for a money tree.

*Sigh*...I'm kicking myself that I waited to get a Red 35cm Croc Birkin...now I want one, and of course H increased prices by 20%
I'm afraid to even know what a Red 35cm Croc Birkin is going to set me back....ballpark $ anyone?
I'm thinking of a white JPGII as a summer bag although I'm kind of torn between GHW or PHW...hmmmm

I have 2 things that I want to save for... a Cartier LOVE locking bracelet, and a Kelly bag! This would be my first Hermes bag, and I don't know exactly what size I am looking for, but I definitely love the style of the Kelly.
First things first... Pay off my credit card bill! Sigh.

still waiting for mine.... :cry: i am so envious looking at gals "my age" going to their third and fourth and fifth and sixth H bag, and i am still working hard on my first (one that i buy for myself, and not a gift) :crybaby:

i am glad i am not alone though :flowers:

bagpunk, how old r u? I am 52 n finally able to buy one if I can get one n hopefully, b able to live long enough to enjoy it. So not to worry, u hv plenty of yrs to owe more one day. That goes to all u young n working girls. Good luck getting one, lol

Ernskie, If i were to compare chocolate milk to an Hermes to my hubby, I will hv a long argument with attacks. He will compare the money as well n how hard to earn for that amount just for a bag, ridiculous, ridiculous price to pay. AUS$14,600 for 35 birkin. N I agree to want sth expensive save on smaller/cheaper items, BUT, can we resist, mmnn, yes, but only if i am locked in my house facing the 4 walls or credit card cancel by hubby. At least u girls hv income to purchase whatever u want, when u can. Enjoy yr spending, lah

Hey, so glad to find this thread. I am in the same boat and a newbie. Have been addicted to Birkin and Kelly for the past 3 years and still do....sigh! I wish I had a magic wand......

Hi everyone!

I wanted to say to everyone in the wait/save group....did anyone get any bags while I was gone? My computer would freeze and crash, making this forum impossible for daily viewing, but I'm on a different browser now so *knock wood*.

Hermes.com is now showing Kelly wallets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

& for the gents (or ladies that like the style) they have the Steve online. :)
Then I want to see Bolides!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I do not own one H bag. I collect the scarves and shawls and I would say that this is my H obsession rather than the bags. I appreciate the craftsmanship of H bags (and love the colors), but the only bag I am really interested in is the Bolide. If I added all my scarves and Gms, I would have definitely been able to purchase 2 or 3 Bolides by now! However, I think more and more that if I were to invest in a nice handbag, it would likely be this one. My problem is that every year the new scarves come out and I love them more than saving for a bag! This is a fun thread though, and I am glad that there is a support group for those who are wishing for a dream bag. Hoping you all get your dream bags one day soon! And when you do, there will be much to celebrate on this thread for sure!:balloon:
