For about 3 years now I've thought that as much as I love and want a black 35cm Clemence Birkin.....that I will never have one. However. I decided this afternoon that I am going to save around £400 a month from the end of this month in a seperate acount and get one. I figure if I save £400 then by this time next year I'll have saved £4,800 & I will be in a position to get myself a Birkin (or are they more expensive than this?). Do you think I will be able to get one? Or will they still be so hard to get your hands on? :( - considering that I would only be able to purchase one from a London store. (cant do Ebay coz I would just be so scared of fakes) xx

Hello beastofthefields. I think that's a pretty realistic plan and I believe you should save around £5,500 or so to account for taxes and price increases. Please keep in mind Hermès historically has two price increases a year. A 35 cm Clemence Birkin may not always be available so be prepared to hunt and are you OK whether the hardware is gold or palladium?

I am not sure, but I think I saw one of your pic somewhere on forum that looked like in an airport lounge that I used to frequent quite a bit! Any reveals of any of the above?:graucho:

Its so funny, Ive always been an Louie & Gucci person...i'm 18 and kinda new to the whole Hermes game by the end of the year i want to have all the basic colors, nothing to crazy...but enough to make your jaws drop..!!

its been more than a year since I last posted in this thread. It'll be 2 years now since I've ordered/waiting for my 28cm kelly sellier box parchemein with gh :D

i guess...its good for me waiting coz I still have not save up for my dream bag :p

I haven't been on this thread in a while. Gorgeous bag! I have a parchemin clemence GHW JPG. It is a stunning combo... well worth the wait!
