When you bring in your bag to spa, do you have to bring everything? Dust bag, clochette, lock, keys etc? I’m considering spa-ing my 4 yo B30 but there’s not much wrong with it so probably just needs some cleaning and overall loving. I never use keys/lock so it’s pristine in the box and I don’t anticipate needing anything done to it but not sure if H wants to see everything when you bring in for spa. TIA!

Leave the clochette on the bag but keep the lock, keys, and dust bag at home. They will condition the clochette leather too. :) When I brought my bag in they just took off the removable hardware and handed it back to me anyway.

Thanks I wish I saw this before I sent it in. My SA handed me back the little pouch with lock/key/clochette when I brought it in yesterday. Oh well, I never use it so I guess it’s ok.

I’d say so! I posted before & after pics on this thread:

Can I ask how long it took before you got the quote for your bag? I dropped mine off with my SA mid-last week and I know she still has to transfer it to the after-care centre but I’m curious to know when I might hear back from the centre. (I’m told my bag will likely not need to be sent to Paris but just conditioned locally). Thanks!

Hi everyone, I recently purchased a preloved (14 years old) B35 for a good price but it will need some refurbishment due to some scratches, wear on the corners (including a small hole), and darkened handles. My plan is to take it to the NY Madison spa for repair. Does anyone have a current pricing for a birkin handle replacement, scuffed corner repairs, and a new lock and keys? TIA!

Do you happen to know how long it takes. Not bad for the cleaning conditioning price. If only we have a before and after examples.

I think even for conditioning it depends on how busy the workshop is. I dropped off my B30 to be spa’d locally and they told me over the phone that it should take about 3 months (only cleaning and conditioning, no repair work needed).

I sent my 35cm boxcalf Birkin for spa in January and just received the quote: (In Canadian dollars)
$375 cleaning and refreshing of body
$175 stitching of 2 top gussets
$435 refreshing of handles
(also says they don't re-dye handles - is that normal?)
And I was given an eta of 7 weeks.
