Hello- i have an Hermès Etriviere Meeting 38 Briefcase and the belt closure is getting a little old looking. Does anyone know if i can take it to Hermès and have them do a spa treatment for the edges (reglaze it) and then also switch the belt closure out for a new one? The one i have is brown belt strap and i would love to have it replaced with a Blue Nuit like this photo.

Any information is greatly appreciated!

It took a while before I received my estimate from Paris...so be patient! They’ll also send a comprehensive list and cost of what the craftsperson feels must be done. (Refer to my picture for what it most likely will look like), and after you select which repairs you want completed, just sit back and wait. (patiently as hard as it is...I waited 8 months!)
I also waited exactly 8 momths. Dropped in december and its ready now. Will be picking her next week and can't wait to see how it came out :)

That Dalvy....! That thing's gorgeous. Congrats on such a great find.

I notice the prices on B35s right now are fantastic. Smart move on the black! I think you'll find an inexpensive Birkin sent to the spa was a wise choice--the way they can make those bags shine is truly amazing. I believe the people with the patience to buy low and wait for the bag to come back are very well-rewarded, too. I know patience is a virtue of the Hermes brand... but sadly one I seem to lack!

I am toying with the idea of a pre loved one, but somebody mentioned that the spa charges make almost as much of a dent as the bag, so I would be totally grateful if somebody could tell me if that is a rumor or in fact true. Sorry if this is a bit OT.

I think I was quoted ~$250 for the standard conditioning and refurbishment. My SA actually advised me not to replace the handles, she said for the cost, was not necessary in my situation. So they're good I think at estimating the costs, and don't seem to upsell or overcharge unnecessarily. Hope that helps!

Totally, thank you, I was expecting another 0 behind it but given the price of the bag, that is really not a lot

Hi all, I went through all 23 pages hoping to find someone from my country Malaysia had experienced with spa treatment but I didn’t see anyone mentioning they are from Malaysia. If there’s any Malaysians out there, I hope you can advise on process done in Malaysia. Thanks.

Took a Bolide to SF store today and was quoted $275 for full refurbishment (nothing needed replacement). She said it costs the same no matter the bag and it didn't seem to depend on how much work it would need. She asked me questions like "do you want them to do this corner ... the clochette ... the feet ... etc?" and I got very confused thinking it was priced per fix or something. Nope, one fee..... so I told her to fix anything that needs fixing!

Oddly enough, when I called in this morning to ask if the craftsman was here today, an SA told me he might be able to do fixes like corner work in-store while I wait. I got excited and left work early to come in, only to have another SA scoff and say, "Impossible ... it would be 2-3 months due to the holidays." :( Wishful thinking I guess.
