The border with the triangles and plus symbols did threw me off at the beginning. But on the picture from the Pret a Porte show the scarf does look like it folds like a cotton scarf would, that's why I thought about this 90 men's- carree from the german web site. I do think the patterns match....
The scarf on the website ends with a dark border, while the one on the picture has a brighter border (with the triangles) but this brighter border comes after the dark border. I figured the show version of the scarf is slightly different than the actual version that hits the stores months later. Like it was a few years ago when "Couvertures et Tenues" GM C/S came out. It was a fringed shawl on the runway, but only a rolled one on the stores... (I even thought, maybe the triangles are just color samples from the print on the scarf that get cut out at the end!?!)
Agree the fabric of the beige & black scarf is NOT twill, it could be a cotton/silk blend ..
The triangle made also think of the registration boxes & triangles that are cut off. They were incorporated into the design in Carre en Cravates- see brown photo below, but they were inside the field not at the edge of the design
I went and looked at the photos of the 2017SS womens collection ex libris en cravates but it has not riangles/boxes, it has the letters spelling HERMES around the edges - balck & blue photo
So, still at a loss about the mens triangle & + mark scarf ...

My husband bought me this lovely hermes scarf/ stole for Christmas, I was wondering what the name is,
and what year this would have come out.

It is silk / cashmere the tags are gone

measurements are
27 inches = 69cm by 70 inches = 178cm

It is very big, so it is hard to get a photo of it in one shot.

it is a blueish grey/ orange

here are a few photos, and I added additional pix at my Photobucket, in case you needed more details.

Thank you for your help on this.

Hello HeatherZE,

Your twilly is Millefleurs De Mexique in colourway 12.

Good call ! This was kind of a toughie for me, at least, I thought Millefleurs BUT the big solid blue & green paisleys threw me off
The Hermes.com photo of the same twilly folded shows my point - here you see all the tiny design bits - the big green and blue solid paisleys are gone
Twillies are the worst to ID, even the Hermes website fails to shows both sides of the flat twilly and so much of a twilly disappears when folded - at least when folded in the shown in the website
So, interesting educational question
PS notice how the thumbnail of the folded twilly shows almost nothing ... I had deleted the big photo and replace it with the thumbnail, and decided that did not show the point

Can anyone tell me if Theresa May's scarf is Hermes and if so which design - I think it looks like Hermes but I cannot fathom the design - it seems to have waves in the pattern (her top left lapel of the pic with flags behind her)! Many thanks
